I think what makes little hiccups like this SO FUNNY is that Matt is SO GOOD at building his world and drawing you in, that you can’t help but imagining the entities “shiver and queefing” and it just makes it so funny!

My last campaign, while we were sent out to explore some caves, a local apothecary asked us to collect these herbs and mushrooms if we could find them while we were in the area. We get to the caves, and we find a hobgoblin tribe. After proving we weren't the murder-hobos the DM was afraid we would become in this campaign, the hobgoblin leader revealed they traded with the apothecary regularly. "We trade weed for mushroom...I should have thought about what that sounded like before saying it."

Critical Role is just the players doing everything they can to absolutely break Matt Mercer. Prove me wrong lol
