The album cover lools like stones where we grew up called Auld Wifes Lifts. good tale to go with. I guess the Celts built these all over the island of heathens for mushroom ceremonies...
Cousin got me onto these a while back. Now just found All Them Witches, a more mellow version of this. Both awesome in the right light at the right angle of the moon with a big scooby dooby doobry
Dude I feel the same way. Free The Witch was so amazing and then WR was beyond a masterpiece. At first listen I didn't think this one stood up to them but after probably 5 listens it's just as good. This band is legendary. I'm seeing them in September in Columbus and I'm so stoked.
Cool, @@chriskerns9244 , I saw them in Limerick, Ireland. A couple of hours after the gig I walked in on the band taking down their equipment. Quite drunkenly, over a period of 15 mins or so, I told them that story among others 😆
i'll def smoke anything that sounds like ghost but i have to say it's kinda funny that a few track names are similar to ghost songs: forest church - devil church maxine (witch queen) - guleh (zombie queen) hunters in the sky - watcher in the sky
Couldn't like this album... The last two releases was so much disapointment, looks like i'm listening to Ghost, not Green Lung. The album is way more heavy metal and pop rock that they forgot to bring the stoner/doom elements.
Yet another competent Metal or whatever band musician-wise, with average, paint-by-numbers songwriting and lyrics that we've heard many times before. There's nothing distinctive or memorable about them.
probably best or one of the best of new groups that play on rock scene presently-WARNING ,GL, GHOST -most of other groups either nothing interesting or garbage m .b. i missed something, but it how it looks to me so far
Incredible album, regret not having checked out the band earlier, happy I did now. Absolute gem, no skips, pure joy. Looking forward to seeing them live next year. 💚
