Multi faith prayer rooms at Heathrow airport are a farce. They're not for all faiths. I was there a few weeks ago October 2023. Sat down in the Multi faith prayer room and was doing my thing. Firstly a female airport employee came and told me that I was in the female part( no signs or suchlike). I just smiled and continued. After about 15 minutes a male airport employee came and TOLD me that it was the female part of the multi faith room, still no signs. Both of these employees were obviously Muslims themselves. The gentleman was Egyptian and the lady was of middle eastern descent. It is disgraceful that such a busy, multi-cultural/ faith airport has it's very own Islamic "police" making sure that the so called multi-faith prayer room is segregated( by Muslims). The male employee was rather unpleasant, claimed that I was being disrespectful. He told me everyone knows that the Multi faith prayer room is divided (gender). He was unable to explain why, his English was rather basic, I am a native speaker(English and am fluent in a few other languages). The gist of our conversation was that I should kowtow to Islam at the multi-faith prayer room. I got the feeling that he couldn't keep up with a normal native English speaker. Why does Heathrow airport employ such people? Sexist, anti- non Muslims, insufficient command of English and disrespectful towards British / western norms?
Syrus Lowe you have outdone yourself!!!.....phenomenal job doux doux(sweetie pie in English)bless your charming, endearing self😊.This is the most comprehensive, simplified video of London attractions I have seen. What an invaluable service you have proffered to all of us.Thank God I came across it as I will be visiting soon, therefore researched sooooo many youtube videos as well as the net to find clusters of attractions to curate an itinerary to facilitate my physical limitations while absorbing the magical vibe of the London scene.I will be flying in from Trinidad via New York.May all your endeavours be blessed and may your life continue to be a most fulfilling one.Thank you!thank you! thank you!
The UK is blasted dirty and nasty mate. Rubbish everywhere . Central London included like charing Cross which is a tourist spot but full of homeless people and charities giving them food making all this mess. On nearly every street in London there's rubbish
You drive in the other side of the road. Don't ever change that, it's just a part of this awesome city that I love so much! I don't mind it being a little old-fashioned.
Interesting take on Chinatown. I've heard lots of good things about it and from Chinese people. Might be one of those things I have to try and see for myself...
