Just realised that Siffrin's travelling clothes are straight up a reference to Odin in his aspect as the Wandering God (thick grey cloak, big hat, eyepatch). Also Siffrin is definitely putting themself through a lot of horrible stuff to earn wisdom.

I noticed something neat after having watched a 'Start Again' playthrough that hints toward the twist with Loop. Spoilers for Start Again I guess: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Whenever Loop refers to the other party members, they always refer to them as The Kid, The Researcher, The Fighter and The Housemaiden, which is how they are referred to in Start Again, because by that point in the story, Loop had forgotten everyone's names, as they mention in the fight

Though it is sad that the 'true' ending is the one where Sifrin makes everyone upset, it's kinda beautiful that we see his family loves him and are willing to talk it out, to put themselves on the line for him, still. There for Sif in the best, and worst of times.
It’s not really that sad considering they now know you were in a time loop and talked to Loop who probably explained everything. It’s definitely better that you were honest with them rather than just making them happy temporarily while you hold back all info from them about yourself.
Honestly, as I watched it and got to the part where Sifrin ends up alone, I knew that would be the final loop, because "Siffrin messed up, but their relationship can survive this" is a much more uplifting message than "The only way for Siffrin to repair their relationship is by starting over". I had also watched a video about how some people put on a mask because, if they get rejected, it doesn't hurt as bad because it was their fake persona that got rejected, and while this isn't one to one with that, this is the first time Siffrin's "I'm fine" mask slipped off, making this ending more cathartic.
@@valdonchev7296such an important part! You’re right, that once fully vulnerable and destructive, Sif was able to break the cycles keeping him in the loop because he stopped masking, actually spoke truthfully. ❤
this one gets me even more, because siffrin 's wish is that he wants to stay with his family members, so even through all of that hardship it's still an option for them. like, when Bonnie dies or when sif freaks his family out he loops because his wish is impossible now, but it was never like that during the final run
