@@thepausebutton was playing it earlier and kept thinking the last three i missed were the green ones cuz it wouldn’t play up the success stinger after that challenge. Apparently it was those hidden three (an area I’d already checked in a round before then)
Hello thepausebutton and thank you as always for your great videos. Can I please ask you what the exact diameter is for each of the two holes passing through the chassis underneath the right side compartment of the fightstick? In fact, if I can manage to place a round shaped USB feedthrough in one of them and plug the USB cable directly to it from the inside then I am seriously considering purchasing a Qanba Obsidian 2. Thank you in advance for your response and I wish you a very good continuation!
I've never done a mod like that. Do you mean where the stock usb comes out of? It's the only hole in the chassis that comes from the inside. Other than access port to change the ball top. Happy to help if I understood where you're trying to install a different usb
Thanks for your quick reply. What I actually meant is the hole beneath the bat top as seen at 6:05 on the video (there is also a smaller hole on the left side). From the look of it, I assume it should be possible to screw in an Adafruit USB-C jack to USB-A jack round panel mount adapter. That way, the USB cable would be plugged onto the USB-A end of the adapter from the inside of the fightstick and a detachable USB cable would be plugged onto the USB-C end of the adapter on the outside of the joystick. According to the adapter's diagram, it has a diameter of exactly 21.7mm which makes me wonder if it will fit in any of the two holes.
Ahh. I think I see what you wanted to know..I'm not familiar with the connections you're trying to do but I think I got the measurements. When the bat top is out there is a hole that opens up to the inside of unit. I can see the components with a light. That hole where the bat top is approx 25mm. And to the left of that where the ball top is stored has a smaller hole that also runs into the unit. It's approx 15mm. I hope that's what you needed. Feel free to ask more questions if not.
Due to holidays, I haven't got to try it out. But I'm dying to. And hahahaha, it was dark.. took me a second.. (my type of humour).. sadly it was tragic though. Congrats on the purchase. Do you do modifications? I prefer the octogon direction plate and medium spring tension. I'll try it stock at first.
@@thepausebutton No, haven't ordered it yet. Going to order it on the tenth in S. Korean time zone because there is a shipping company that will deliver before 7am the very next day(subtly brags) ;). It's a gift so I know I shouldn't be too demanding with the timing.
@@thepausebutton Yes, I have! I can't believe how much I can like a fightstick. The weight, dimensions, and quality of parts are all in there. I love it so much. It is definitely better than the Qanba Dragon I have. Make sure all your parts are legit Sanwa just a reminder. I wasn't going to say this due to fear of not getting proper AS service from where I reside, but the black base of the lever was faulty. It didn't look the same as the legit ones shown in comparison. I was guessing what big of a difference can that make but it definitely made motions more mushy. I think due to the black plastic causing friction against the pivot or the metal washer. Just giving you a heads up!
In the pause menu, there's an option to change move names. I think you have to click on move names and it switches to move inputs. It's been a while but it's in that menu.
@@mastercharizardx14 it only stays that way when in that challenge you changed it for. Exiting or moving on to next challenge, I believe switches it back to move names.
Here's a tip to jump start a combo: When you do a ground stomp around a group, it counts a hit for each person that got hit. I've started with as much as a 9 hit combo just from doing that alone. Another cool trick is to electrify everyone and do it multiple times, your combo will keep adding up so long as they're in your vicinity.
That actually just sounds fun to do too! Especially with the electrifying effect! Thanks for that one!! If you can, make a video of it and link it. I'd like to see it. I haven't played in a while so the game is uninstalled on my PS4
I think I stayed close to the ground so there was always something to web to. Also these are cumulative, so we don't have to do them all at once. Follow the streets and use the lights. It's been a while but I think that's how I did it. Cheers!
This is exactly what's pissing me off the medium kick to 2nd ex hundreds slap lol. It's easy to buffer the first one but second it's impossible idk how you did it so fast. And first hundred slap always says maximum cuz the v skill is activated :(
Starting the 2nd ex hundred hand slap has to be started before the kick is even finished the return frames. Practically immediately start mashing as soon as you hit the med kick.. if I remember correctly. It's been a while but I remember really struggling with it
@@5part4 you platinumed it!!? Nice.. I couldn't get the hard marathon fights. The one with 100 battles.. I got to 80 I think and lost, then gave up.. that was before the save patch haha
I may not have needed the whole video but you explaining that VT2 doesnt require me to charge the dash punch helped me a ton! Also give your bird a little kiss from me.
It's worth noting that you can do the fireball with negative edge to make it easier, I will say that I took some tips from this video as well, so the rest was just cake after that, thank you
Absolutely, it helps to play with the timing. Finding that sweet spot that's comfortable was the tricky thing for me. Because I'm not that good, I find players of most levels usually at least one or two tips from these haha.. and thank you!
Does the 50 combo benchmark keep going up every 50? For example, after the first 50, does it go up again at 100 or do you have to reset the combo count?
If I remember correctly, it does keep going up but more and more for each benchmark. So something like 50 then 100 then 300 and so on. It's been a while but I think that's how it worked. Cheers!
@@thepausebutton also they’ve developed most of the characters that were going to be in 4.0 but they never released them because Disney interactive shut down for some random reason (Characters including Ursula, Moana, Maui, Goofy, and more)
@@gregsoccerman no way! Maui!! That would have been fun to play with. I guess it just wasn't profitable to keep the maintenance and servers up and running and all the developers. Maybe there'll be a digital version someday.. but it won't be the same as the actual figures
It's finding that tiny tiny sweet spot of when to hit the button at the in-between movement. The trick is to let go of what comes natural and hit the button when you don't think it'll work... And hahaha, I know that probably makes no sense.
Oh and also.. allow the crush counter animation to go on a bit longer so the charge back has enough time to activate. Almost to the end of Ryu's animation of reeling back.. hope it helps
@@helltioeverygames it's one of the few ones that have weird timing like the dalsim teleport, and unless you're some kind of god haha, it's one that would be to crazy to be used by regular players.
@@thepausebutton Regular!?,im a huge noob haha, started like, for fun, when i ralize i was like on volume 2 o 3 haha,it's hard but fun to do.By the way.......................I DID IT!!!!!!!!,i didn't understand HOW you did it but i did it by my own haha,it' like:hold back,do the counter and that punch and then for some reason it does work haha,i tested when i ended my stream and it took like like 5 times only in 10 minutes, yesterday was like 2 hours and 3 hours before yesterday but i did it.I don't know how but it worked, hope not to see more of those haha.PS:Why so long that you didn't upload a video?,you're on twch?? i can't follow but i can in here.
I just managed to do it and I'm actually getting consistent at it. Here's how I did it. 1 - Hold V-Skill until you need to cancel into Hadouken (thank you). 2 - Use LIGHT Hadouken. 3 - Cancel into V-Trigger BEFORE the Hadouken hits Ryu. 4 - The tatsu can whiff if done too early, I think. Thank you for this video.
I'm happy it helped. Congrats! And if you can do it most of the time, that's incredible! It's a nice looking combo and pretty devastating. Even if the Tatsu wiffs I think it's still cool looking to pull off.
It takes a ridiculous amount of practice and timing. The trick was to make small changes in timing, which is really hard when muscle memory is already setting in the wrong way. Akuma combos are not smooth flowing like a lot of characters. Keep at it and take breaks to reset that muscle memory. Good luck
I noticed that if you have all the dlc episodes you can do the screwball challenges. I bring this up because the gadget challenge with electric webs and impact webs was FANTASTIC for getting combos of 100. If you have a combo of 100 it'll count twice towards the 50 combo count. Also, if you're running low on enemies to combo you can just do that move where you yank them to you while youre mid air and let them fall. Jump, yank, fall, repeat. The enemies in this game take almost 0 damage from falling that distance so I get a combo of 15 to 20 on one dude even on friendly neighborhood difficulty.
I did not think to try that. Thanks for the tip and it could definitely help anyone who hasn't done this benchmark and wants to change it up from the grind of this way to complete it. Thanks 👍
These trials are just straight up garbage. The timing is beyond incomprehensible and nothing flows. It's either you have to do the inputs at lightning speed or you have to wait a fraction of a second to start your input. Overall not worth the headaches for the mediocre rewards.
I felt the same way with some of these as well. It comes down to if we really want to use the combos, or just do them for practice that may help with other characters.. or in my case because I'm obsessed with completing games hahaha. But in all honesty if not using the combo or character and it's frustrating it's a good idea to step away for a bit and come back to it later. Sometimes I'd come back after a day or two and all of a sudden just get it.
@@thepausebutton I understand if you're looking for 100% completion but for the casual gamer it can be annoying. That being said I also agree with the taking a break, certain trials I only completed after taking a step back and starting fresh. Keep fighting the good fight and best of luck.👍🏻
@@manuelsantana4822 Ive been getting a feeling that with sf6 we may see more characters with the weird timing like Luke's. I really hope not but it seems like they wouldn't have done it without some reasoning.. just thinking out loud. And thanks.. you too..
Really? That's a great tip! I just remember doing the 'stick and move' with any game I have troubles with when it comes to bosses. Is there any chance you have a video of that? It sounds way faster than my trick
@@thepausebutton i actually don’t know how to post videos of Disney infinity but it’s pretty simple and the lightsaber has really good range you don’t even have to move unless an enemy is on the other side of the arena but there is a small amount of cooldown
@@thhdmu646 it's so fun, definitely look up how to post video. Usually you can connect the console directly to your RU-vid account from saves videos. Your trick sound so much better, I don't think I tried using Vader for this fight, because I didnt use him much at all and didn't want to learn a new character. Maybe I should have, he sounds really strong haha!
agreed! And it seems that it can be varied based on individual skill and feel. So what worked for me may not work for someone else. Not something I'd be able to do in a battle that's for sure ha!
Really appreciate this. Can't believe they didn't do one of the early trials for him just on the last part. There's no other character over 5 years or whatever that has those input simultaneously combos. Cheers.
You are welcome. I keep it as straight forward as I can and even if only a piece of the guides helps people, I'm happy to do it. Wow on the dash, I'm terrible at dashes they always throw me off so I try different ways.. the dash looks way cooler.. cheers
Thanks again bro. Very good video. I've always had an issue with double quarter circles on sticks. It's shocking I've done as much as I have. Doing it as a cancel from the back heavy quarter circle is hard. I get it once in a while. This could take a few minutes or until the end of time.
thanks bro. thanks to you I'm at this point. I feel like I was about to get it this morning. I just don't have the patience or stamina to put in hours. LOL
You made it! Glad I was some help. Really it's your patience and practice that gets us past these. If you've mastered that wierd combo punch these won't be as hard. The weekend is upon us and hopefully you don't find the next two infuriating haha.. feel free to ask any questions! I'll get back as soon as I can
@@jokatech ahh yes.. that was very annoying timing. Basically you have to instantly tap the punch after starting the dash. I usually start mashing the punch right away and to make it a bit easier make sure Ryu is as far away from edge of screen to get maximum bounce.
Not sure if it is my controller or the game, but it will not register any input at all immediately after the back medium. It literally makes me wait a couple of seconds to put in anything else at all.
It might be. Or tv refresh rate as well..rumor has it there's a lag between the input and game response. There's also a couple frames which that could happen where it's too late. Try slowing down instead of immediately and then try faster. I know that sounds vague but that's how I do it and I don't pay attention to what's happening on the screen cause I know my TV is low refresh rate.
@@jokatech I hope it helps. I didn't have time today to fire it up to see if it's just timing. But if slowing down or speeding up doesn't help let me know I'll get back in there and focus on that part specifically.
@@thepausebutton There is definitely a latency issue, but there is a golden piece of advice you gave. It was doing the directional movement before pressing the button. It helps tremendously. The issue is that it feels like such an isolated and counterintuitive mechanic now. I've played SNK games and other obscure fighters in the past where that was used, but I've been trained to input exactly for so long that I'm wondering if it is worth it to master this. LOL.
@@jokatech oh good! Glad you figured it out. It has a Karen or Fang feel for a couple of those moves. Ones I would never be able to master haha. It's unfortunate that part of combo seems to be a bread and butter move too. Rumor has it he's sorta a preview of what sf6 might bring.
Thanks you, I'm definitely no pro, that's why I do these. So hopefully anyone can follow along and get these or at least pick up a couple tips. Cheers!
Unfortunately I stopped playing a while ago. But I kept all my figures and games and save files are backed up, in case it ever comes back. The hours I spent playing were so fun I've heard rumors that another company picked it up.

@@williamkopko5775 I did 100% the playsets.. I enjoyed this game so much I had to. Skylanders is coming back? I imagine they may go to cards sorta like amiibo. But I'll be all over infinity if it came back and hopefully be able to make more videos
gamefaqs.gamespot.com/pc/154804-disney-infinity-30-edition/faqs/72464?page=6 Scroll down to the part that shows the sidekicks. Some may not be available anymore without updates unfortunately.
Good job w/that, breaking it up, and the walk instead of dash (another reason I dislike that Guile combo). Maybe this is easier than her first one, due to no orb taps & DP at the end. Wish I was on PS4 this weekend, but hope to try when I can. Cool trial & great character. :)
It's a bit easier, but like the othe it's all about getting a rhythm down. Especially with orb taps. It's almost a mental game to get it without thinking. Much like when we play a character we're really used to.
@@jettmanas I'm gonna look at Karin but I'll be honest those ones were so hard. That timing of the fast fist thing... Yikes! I think she was the only one I ever changed my button config for.. if I remember Right
Happy to help.. this one was quite a weird one to figure out how it works. It seemed like an impossible one at first but once we get a feel for it, it definitely helps with some of the others later on.. cheers!
Though I cleared this already, I decided to watch, give first/only thumb up, and comment. Good job on that. The MP cancel was a big pain. Agreed on the combo looking cool. I can't get v4 Karin 1-2 & Kage 6-10, but those are ridiculously hard. At least Karin's nice to look at & has good music. Kage's the opposite for me. XD
It was definitely something new to me that I hadn't seen before. Learning how that worked made it possible to get Dan and Luke's the principal is about the same. Oh I know Karin's well.. probably the hardest to get. Once I'm done menat and Ed I'll take a look at those. Karins is ridiculous fast input. Kage, can't remember those but I like playing with him so the refresher will be good practice. I've always liked G's music myself. Thanks for the thumbs up
@@thepausebutton Good points, including Karin. Cleared both of Ed's, but look forward to Menat 2. And I got some new info on Dan #10 (holding down through a lot). I hope to try him & Menat 1 some more. You're welcome.
@@thepausebutton Thanks. Yes, the person said you can just hold down through all the VT, cHPs, and V-Skill parts. Guess I'll try. But your vid should really help as well.

Decided to watch an older vid. Wow, all these views, favs & comments! They should've put microstep in the movelist. Watching the demo, I had no idea til I found out on GameFAQs forums. And the instant back, forward. I'm amazed people could get the latter half of Kage v4. And Guile v2 #10. And a few Karin trials. They seem too difficult since years of practice didn't help. Fun vid!
