As a furry, I need to say a few things. First of all, furries are cosplayers, which means they dress up as a character (in this situation an animal character) and make content, go to conventions, or just walk around in a costume. They also might just have an interest in humanoid animals and/or draw them. Secondly, if you hate on furries, ask yourself why. Why do you hate furries? Maybe one did something bad to you but why hate an entire fandom because of one thing? There are people from all different backgrounds and societies and cultures in the furry fandom. We are not all the same. Third and finally, furries are just expressing themselves. Sure, there are some bad eggs in the fandom, but there are bad eggs in every fandom. We are people, just like you are, and deserve to be treated equally as anyone else. #stopfurryhate #stoptherianhate #antizoo
The reason why I don’t support furrys is because that if you were a human and you want to be, I don’t know a dog for instance, so you’re telling me that you can make a mask a suit or whatever you do, but if a dog wants to be a human tell me how that is possible because I don’t think I human should have a different rights like does anyone agree with me and also I’m not trying to hate cause I’m not a bully or anything I’m just telling you why I don’t support that decision.
They don’t want to be animals they just have a interest in anthropomorphic animals i would recommend searching up a definition cause im not very good at explaining (also this is not hating on you btw) :)

To all the furry haters, why? What does people putting on costumes shaped like animals actually bother you? WHAT ABOUT MICKEY MOUSE HUH? DO YOU GO UP TO MICKEY MOUSE COSTUMES IN DISNEY LAND AND HATE ON THEM FOR WEARING SUITS THAT LOOK LIKE ANIMALS? No. That’s stupid. No, they don’t think they’re animals. No, they aren’t zoos (and even if they are everyone else hates them.) It’s people who put on costumes. Context: Henry, a kittypet, saw William, a rouge,and started talking to him. He saw the scars on William and saw them as something that proved William to be brave and strong. But when William spoke of the scars in a way that seemed like he didn’t like them, Henry told him that it made William seem strong since he was able to get through what he went through. Basically just Henry being nice to William even though they never knew each other before this. Proves how sweet Henry is, even when it comes to a complete stranger.❤
