I was suspicious that the manhunts might be staged myself for a bit until I watched one of the manhunt videos and heard dream and his friends quite literally casually talking about a time dream had gotten away and how absurd it was, affectively proving they weren't staged. if they were staged, the team wouldn't have been so surprised about what happened.
I don't think these were ever scripted, but what I DO believe is there were likely multiple runs over a day of filming to get the most entertaining video possible. I'm sure there are plenty of runs (especially on the 4 or 5 man teams) when Dream dies very early on and they just restart instead of posting a 5 minute video.

It's always funny when a non-expert criticizes the performance of a world class speedrunner and thinks that it is all staged. Is the criticizer familiar with speedrunning? Do a rubik's cube solve in 30 seconds (which is slooow...) in front of a non-speedcuber and they will think you are performing witchcraft. 😂
well the videos are scripted yes but they werent like spawning items in or crazy stuff they just for sure intentionally didn't kill him sometimes and its very obvious

Even if these were faked, think of all of the times they would have to try and play through these for the perfect run, it would take too many times and to keep up with the feelings in the moment can be hard. But on a light note, if they really did, I dont care cause this whole things was so iconic and I wish they'd do this again
also the simple fact that noone plays so much attention to the portion like no one is seeing the slight color difference and go that is not a strenght portion and attack you
This dude really made a video claiming scripted moments, and then he pulls clips with no context without looking into previous situations and without looking at the analysis videos. Like bruh, is it really that hard to investigate and look at context instead of throwing random clips together and claiming something with no evidence supporting it?
i think the guy that made the video has watched a lot of minecraft videos but never actually played minecraft, he missed out a lot of details that made him look like a fool

We who know the game can blatently see whats happening and why you choose to do the things you did, as well as the hunters actions making perfect sence when in the context. The troll is just piggybacking content off of your millions of views and its a very hollow and shallow attempt. We can plainly see your reasoning and inventive solutions to their growing awareness as hunters, at least those of us who know the game well.
They’re definitely scripted a bit, they would be able to kill him if they tried at the beginning. But it’s for entertainment so I’m not mad at it, dream is a hell of a player and no hate but you couldn’t get an hour in without a slight script
Yeah. People saying it isn't scripted are lying to themselves. There's obviously some plays that are done for entertainment. And that's alright. It's supposed to be entertainment at the end of the day
With the first 3 hunters clip, earlier in the manhunt dream says he was going to make other potions but didn’t have time and the hunters forgot about that which I think is kinda funny

Like 9/10 of the claims are proven false the rest are just "trust me bro" tbf There's also tons of allegations on him that all had no proof, including SA, shit on Twitter mainly where someone says they knew dream, were going to call the cops, or sue or something, dream finds the exact police station they were talking about, calls them, and finds zero reports. Tons of stuff like that, people just dogging on him because they wanna get clout, what did dream do now... Oh did he burn babies in his basement? You have no proof?
