FORMED IN 2009, LIPS HAS GROWN FROM A SMALL GROUP OF WOMEN WHO LOVE TO SING, TO A 100-STRONG MUSICAL FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH.
Led by dynamic musical directors Kat Stark and Jessie Maryon Davies and accompanied by an all-female* live band, Lips create a wall of sound like nothing else.
Lips' members and influences come from far and wide and they’re as likely to weave Garage classics into Bjork arrangements as we are to belt out no-holds-barred All Saints Covers.
With their powerful vocal performances, rowdy gigs, original arrangements and unique song choices, Lips has transformed the concept of ‘the choir’.
Lips have collaborated with X Factor winner Leona Lewis and were handpicked by Alison Goldfrapp to perform alongside her at the Royal Albert Hall, where Goldfrapp described them as “Great singers with a wonderful musical sensibility."
“A cracking repertoire of pop, soul and disco tunes… They can really sing” - Time Out
This cover version is the most powerful I've found on the web. They made that church a place of great energy and emotional vibration. I wish I was there. Congrat ladies. Cheers :)
This sounds terrible. Was this filmed on a phone? If this was filmed on a professional camera, then next time plug the camera directly into the sound system.
If you are talking about this song , i think your misunderstanding it . about a men and women and the women is wishing that both could trade places in body and mind to see and feel what the other is seeing and feeling to try to keep the partnership TOGETHER . that's what i get
