Yeah Texas is the state with the third highest number of lightning fatalities annually second only to Florida the first and North Carolina the second. However you can be killed by it anywhere. Take it seriously and don't underestimate it. It occurs constantly on the planet. It causes the second highest number of fatalities in The United States of any weather phenomena. Only floods kill more people. We can do all we can to protect ourselves from weather related killers but they are all acts of God and if he is ready to take someone home I guess we have no control over it.
My sincere thanks for not fear-mongering. However, I ask that future updates please include confidence levels displayed with your bullet points so that risk estimates are clear. The speaker briefly mentioned risk/confidence but a clear inclusion of % expectation would be better for me, and especially for any who are hard of hearing and have difficulty satisfactorily increasing the volume of their RU-vid video playback devices.
