Wrong. They’re just alkaline water softeners. Not cleaning agents. Heavy lifting is meaningless. You need at least one to prevent hard water contaminants from interfering with soap and depositing scum. I guarantee…they know more about using their products than you do!
@kathsch8966 3 days ago I use Dr. Bronners castille soap and it does get gel like clumps. They go away if I shake it up just before using but then come back. Any way to stop this or does it not matter? This isn’t a detergent. The only surfactant is bar soap. It contains no detergents. There’s no need for two alkaline water softeners. Washing soda will suffice. no thank you, the borax and super-washing soda do the heavy lifting. I would only use the dr. bronner's cheat sheet if i was just using the dr. bronner's castille soap alone, but since i am relying on the baking soda and borax, it is more diluted.
