BIG BANG OHH EYYY OHHH!! Sucx living in US right now! I cant even see a concert of Big Bang here! TT3TT But thanks for sharing this fancam! The audio is very good, but I hope the video was more clearer! They are such talented singer! COME TO US!!! PALLI!!! I hope u had a great time! I bet u did cuz i can hear all that screaming from the fans! LOL! Hope you didnt lose ur voice! Oh I wish i could have been there to scream and sing along to their songs! XD
Thank you so much for the reply - it helps me a lot, especially when no one really seems to know what is going on and what all these packages exactly have. I will try to call the promoters on Monday (it's so frustrating that it's a weekend) and hopefully they will answer my questions. :)
part 3 - of a mess. My advice would be to bother the promoters or the venue with your questions to find out EXACTLY what that soundcheck ticket entails and then make an educated decision of it it would be worth it to you. In my thinking buying the expensive tix, if Big bang had added a soundcheck or VIP upgrade to my seats I would've bought it, but they didn't. They're my fave band and when is the likelihood that I might ever see them live again? It's also cheaper than going to Korea, lol.
everyone else-which was a definite plus especially if you wanted to buy stuff and it was just relaxing. the VIPs in the US also got a bunch of free stuff - most of which people could purchase and came out to the $100 difference in tix price. Also like I said below I saw them up the prices for the shirts from $25 to $45-which was kind of a rip off. In the end paying the extra for 2ne1 was worth it for me, but I didn't go VIP for Big Bang because it was ALL GA and I thought it would be too much
Hmm, they seem to be doing things a bit different for you chaps! In the US everything was just one ticket/price. For 2NE1, the VIP ticket included the soundcheck and early entry. It's true the soundcheck is only like 20 min? and you get to see them do like three songs. but we were all like right there in the front- just like a hundred (or two) people so it was intimate and awesome. We also got to stay in the venue and get drinks and food, use the restroom, and purchase merchandise before..
Also were you able to remain in the venue after the sound check ended? Because with the BB concert in London it doesn't seem to include an early entry (which I don't quite understand - does that we would have to leave the venue after the sound check? That would be a bit odd!). I don't think I'm up for paying the extra just for the sound check but with an early entry sure... I'm just a bit confused as to how this works.Thank you for a great vid (they are really good arent they?!) once again! <3
Thank you very much for your clip! It looks really good from the video. Would you say it was a worthwhile experience? The thing is, like pZiye, I'm going to BB concert in London in Dec and I'm considering adding a sound check to my ticket. But it is quite pricey at £145 which is roughly about 233 US dollars on the top of the ticket price which is £90 - altogether topping up the VIP ticket in the USA (378 US dollars)which I believe was 300 US dollars.
part2 - I do not regret getting the VIP 2ne1 tix at all though, I guess it's just your decision how much that would mean to you. I did not buy VIP tickets to Big Bang, because I didn't want to be in a GA pit with hundreds of crazed fan girls - lol. But if I hear of anything about the VIP access for next week's concerts in LA I'll let you know!
I'm not sure how the sound check ticket thing will work for the London concert, but if it is similar to the US one other than the sound check it would include a goodie bag which is a BB tour design with a tshirt and light stick and your VIP ticket and lanyard pass. The soundcheck does only last like 15-20 minutes. And if it's anything like 2NE1's, which I would guess would be similar, all the band did was say hi and thank you and are you ready for the concert, etc. Not much interaction.
Thx for the clip. I'm going to BB concert in London with Sound check ticket. As it's quite pricey I was wondering what I would get with such a price. I wanted to see them up close that's why I bought the tix. I read that the sound check only lasts 15 minutes?? Is there no interaction with the fans?? I thought there would be for such a pricey tix. I hope VIPs would post some useful insights of the sound check party at the US concert.
part 2- I'm not 100% sure, but I'm thinking that the row# seat # you see on your ticket is only used to sell the tickets to keep a count on how many are sold. If I am wrong, I'll be glad for all you VIP ticket holders because it should make it less crazy. I had called the venues and asked them questions similar to this, but you should try calling to be sure and ask them any questions you might have.
I'm going by past experience and what information I found from the Honda Cneter, though from what I've seen it looks like the prudential center is the same. If you look at the maps from both (now Honda Center has a detailed map with the stage config) the whole floor is labeled as one GD area. There are no GA sections outlined like a GA1 GA2, GA3 area like I've seen at other concerts so I am assuming it'll be an all at battle-first come, first served- for where you'll be positioned in the crowd
Hi, I’ve been reading your comments to gather info for the BB concert. I have the VIP GA tickets & I know it’s standing only (which I expect to be crazy!) but are we not guaranteed a designated area to ourselves even tho the ticket provided a row/”seat” #? Does this mean that whatever area we’ll get on the floor section will be based on luck and on a “first come first serve” basis? I really hope not but if yes then oh gosh, I’ll have to prepare to go early!! Thanks for your help ;)
Unfortunately, the Big Bang concerts DO NOT have any VIP seating areas. ALL VIP tickets were GA which is General Admission and STANDING only. Which really sucks when you look at it and is kind of scary with the amount of people they will have in that area ( knowing how cray cray K-pop fans can be--which is why I didn't buy VIP and I could of). At the 2NE1 concert they had a VIP seated area which were the first few rows behind of the pit/VIP GA Standing area--that's where I was and it was great!
Hi, i was wonderin if there's seating for the VIP or straight up standing? I've bought the VIP and i didn't realize it was standing and like i have thi sback problem condition. -o-
the concert lasted about 2 hours maybe 2 and a half? Powerhouse will send you an email the week of or week before telling you what time doors will open for VIPs. I went to the 2NE1 concert a little before 5 whem the doors were to open, but got stuck in line - see my response above. I would recommend going a bit earlier to get in line to pick up tix so you don't miss out.
Asains have last names in a-z? Anyway so some of us missed half the soundcheck. With Big BAng there are gonna be A LOT more VIP ticket holders so you might want to go a little earlier than when the doors open. the best thing to do is wait for the email from powerhouse, troll tumblr, twitter etc. to get an idea of when other fans will be going. Check with Honda center about what time they will actually let people line up- they may have rules and not like cray fans sleep over in line etc. GL!
So one thing you guys need to understand is that the 2NE1 concert in LA was at the Nokia theater which is smaller than the Honda Center. Like the week before the concert Powerhouse will send you an email telling you when doors will open for VIPs, for 2NE1 it was 5:00 pm so I got there a little before then. The tickets are will call so you basically got to stand in line to pick your tix, too. There were two lines for people with last name A-L and M-Z, which is cray cray because how many
Hi~~~ I want to ask how long did 2ne1's concert last 0.0? and what time did the sound check party starts ?? I got the VIP tix for BB but I don't know what time should I get there for the sound check party >,< I have SAT II in the morning for about an hour that day so I'm not sure when I should get there :b
You're welcome and congrats! I got my tix, too. Not as good seats as I wanted, but right now just glad I got seats in the lower level! Big Bang, here we come!
Was able to get into contact with someone at the Honda center and they said that they do not have the camera policy for the concert yet and that we would have to ask a couple of days before the event to find out for sure.
Oha nd I forgot - if they do let you take a camera take an extra battery. I had an extra battery and still it wasn't enough for the whole concert at 2ne1, you might need 2 extra batteries, lol.
I know what you mean I've been trying to get as much info as I can to make sure I make the most of my concert experience since I am flying in from Hawaii. All the K-pop concerts I have been to have allowed cameras - just not professional type, DSLRs and ones with detachable lenses. I did read a review on Yelp of the Honda Center by someone that went to SMTown there and they said it was no cameras-so am not sure. To be totally sure you should check with Powerhouse or the Honda Center. Good luck!
Part 2- and what I mean by that is that there will be hundreds of people down there which could be seriously nuts. Nd have heard people talking about camping out in line down there the night before the concert so they can get a better spot- which is crazy, but if you don't do that you'll have paid $300 to stand behind hundreds of people. If you want to buy a VIP ticket I recommend you do it ASAP Saturday- log on early and be ready - because if anything s gonna sell out first it'll be VIP.
It's hard to say. My VIP tix I bought for 2NE1 was like a week after they went on sale, but the 2NE1 concert like came out of the blue. The Big Bang concert had been announced for a while now and people have been saving up just waiting for it. I've never been to a concert at the Honda Center - the concerts I went to in LA were at the Hollywood Bowl and the Nokia Theater. The good news is that the whole floor is VIP GA so there should be lots of tix, the bad news is the whole floor is VIP GA
Part 2 - What was also good was that we were allowed to stay in the venue - which meant we could all buy merchandise, use the restroom, buy food and drinks, etc. WITH NO LINES and in AC whereas everyone else was waiting outside. You also are as close to your idol as possible- I could see the sweat on the girls' faces. The big CON is that for the price you would think they'd have like a meet and greet or something. In the end it was worth it for me whether it would be for you-you'll have to decide
Personally, I believe it's worth it and will be buying VIP tix for Big Bang, too. The pros: the goodie bag with stuff that in the case of 2NE1 was worth about a hundred dollars. Also getting to attend the sound check which is less than half an hour - not totally sure since Powerhouse or whoever was in charge of check in at the VIP table was SOOO slow some of missed half of it- so if you go VIP go early to stand in line for tix so this doesn't happen to you.
