I love your Filofax videos, Emma! This has made my day! I do something similar with noting down what I've done at the end of each day (I do it digitally at the moment, not in my planner so looking forward to seeing how you implement it into your Filofax next year) and I've found it's really helpful for seeing why you didn't get something done (e.g. I didn't finish X because Y cropped up). I got the idea from one of @RachelleinTheory videos and it's been useful when looking at how longer projects went.
It's a fab system, isn't it? I find it particularly useful for looking back over the day and seeing where the time went - it's so common for me to feel dissatisfied with my performance or output and this shows me how much I actually got done. I also just love ticking things off!

Mine is a personal size (details are in the description box under the video). In terms of choosing the best one for your needs, I'd recommend thinking about your lifestyle and also what you want from your planner. Will you be taking your diary out and about with you - what size bag do you use? Would you prefer something that stays on your desk? Might also be a good idea to visit a shop and handle some of the diaries to get a feel for what they'd be like to use, or check out other Filofax content to get a feel for what the other sizes look like.
I’m sorry for your loss. I lost my dad almost exactly four years ago, at the height of the pandemic. I’m a sole trader so there was no external support but I have lovely clients who were very caring and understanding, especially in the uncertain days just before dad passed away when I knew it was almost certainly coming, and immediately afterwards. Grief is a strange thing. Just yesterday while out shopping I saw a stand of Fathers Day cards and thought ‘I must get a card for dad’, and then I felt like an idiot for thinking that, FOUR years after he died. I miss him. There is so much good advice in your video. I’m midway through creating a list of info to enable someone else to contact all my clients if something happens to me.
I'm sorry for your loss! It feels almost impossible to adjust to life without a parent, doesn't it? Everything is triggering. Your emergency plan sounds like a really good idea - it would make a fab blog post or video, if you ever wanted to do something like that. I'd definitely find it helpful.
Aww poor you. I hear ya! Been there! I hope you can heal fast. So young to have your career impacted like that. I remember your lovely desk from your videos. Maybe add a desk that rises so you can stand from time to time. Also maybe dictate some of your copy to your software to save your wrist. There has to be a gizmo for that. Perhaps you have a health care plan that covers those expenses or write them off in your taxes. All work related. Best of luck and sending good health vibes your way!! ❤

Absolutely the best planner video I've seen, the first time you said 'fuck' I cheered like I'd just won the super bowl 😂 , then saw your "witch" lettering and knew I'd found the perfect youtube channel. Fuck yeah ! 👍😉
You might already know or not care, but just be aware those cycle apps aren't always private about your information. I tried one (not the company you're using) and then suddenly I was getting period-related ads in OTHER apps two days before I was due etc, and I was not a fan of that. So there might be some things you prefer to write down, but of course do whatever works best. 😊

I tried following the link for the monthly dashboard but it says the item is unavailable 😞 Do you have any recommendations for something similar? When I bought my filofax last year, it came with monthly dashboards included, and I ended up using those pages more than the rest of it, but my refills just arrived and it's not included.

If you need inspo, my favourites are Rock 'n' Roll Bride, Vogue (usually the September issue), and House & Garden (for the fabrics, wallpapers, and opulent details). I can make those magazines last years!
Yes! I’m going to check out some second hand stores for mags and old picture books, maybe; start collecting for 2025. I did get some texture from knitting magazines. @@EmmaCownley

YES! Do it. You'll get better with time and - on the off-chance you don't - at least you're having fun. It's about the enjoyment of 'doing' rather than being good at it.
