Rules are rules. However, OF did take two steps after the catch and obviously caught it. He was trying to not hurt himself and no animals were injured in the process of the play (Big Unit's killing the bird on a heater to the plate) by bracing with his hands/gloves. Its an out!
My Sis in law quit coaching cheerleading years ago because of threats from Moms, it's ridiculous... Now they throw a few + size girls & wanna be girls in their too & that's absurd.
I think the mlb should go back in time 15 years and never ever change from that. These new rules and changes are killing the sport and human aspect of the game
What a Croc of shit! The outfielder was to late and off to the side. Not a chance in Hell he was going to get his glove on the ball! That was a Homer that a fan simply caught after the fielder clearly misses.
Not saying I necessarily disagree with anyone in the comments, bur due keep in mind wiffle ball's wack ass strike zones that allow you to do some of the weirdest fucking pitches ever. Like i said, i don't think i would disagree that baseball is harder, it's just something to think about. I would love to see an off season wiffle ball game from a couple teams. That would be kinda fun.
It's not about velocity, its about the stuff. You got to have to have some serious skill to hit and pitch in the MLB. The natural movemenf and control for MLB pitbhers is next level. An MLB pitcher with a 4.5.ERA can destroy thrse guys.
