Hy! What is the difference between a soybean seeding drum and a corn seeding drum for sowing machines? Is it possible to sow soybeans with a corn drum? Thank you the answer!
It really comes down to size of seed and air pressure. We purchased 2 more drums for different sized seed. Check with Duffield parts. He maybe able to help you out and answer that question.
I just found this good video, cant find much on Farmall 504 tractors. I bought mine a year ago, it has wide front. Question , what oil pressure do you have ? I rebuilt my oil pump and it still only has 20 lbs hot at idle. Is that enough ? It also seems to run high on the temp gauge but I dont know what actual temp is. Pointed my thermo gun at water pump and it read 200 deg, is that too hot ? It wasnt steaming. Thanks. Hope to see more videos.
I love it it's been on the farm since it was brand new ! I rebuilt the ta 15 years ago had the head rebuilt granted it took a year but it's a solid rig !
This guy looked like he knew what he was doing. He was moving at a reasonable speed, wasted no time on the end of the row, and did not appear to be stressed by the process. Those of us that grew up in the steel days can recognize a genuine operator from a distance.
I only cultivated a little for a farmer back in the late 70s early 80s mostly rotoy hoed 😊 was very peaceful, I miss those days but got great memories of them.
Great, better weed control with less spray👍😊. Unfortunately where I lived most farmers have over a thousand acres each so they don't and now where I live very rolling hills so mostly hay ( love the smell of hay drying😊) . I miss seeing the strip farming of east Central Ohio now in east TN most don't know what I am talking about but they think it would be nice to try.Thank you for farming!
