You’re absolutely right. There would be less drone in the cabin. Having the resonators also muffles the sound to a certain degree, and that’s what i did not want. My future plans for the exhaust is to purchase Long tube headers with no Cats. I want no restriction what so ever in the exhaust system for maximum sound. Got to let them Bald Eagles Sing brother
Thanks! I didnt really feel more power, but definitely feels more smoother. So i went to an exhaust shop and they deleted the resonator and the exhaust for me. The cost was about $600.
So the Only reason i was able to make the car do a long burnout for that long is because i forced the “Thermostat” inside of the engine block to stay open. This allows cold fluent from the radiator to flow continuously through out the engine block while im doing the donuts. I did this by Turning on the AC and setting the Fan speed to “Low”. IDK why, but for some reason, in ford mustangs of that year, it does it. You can try it out your self and compare the difference.
DO NOt buy an Ecoboost Mustang the 2016-2021 is on the most unreliable car list. You cannot turbo charge a 4 cylinder motor and expect it not to have problems. Ford needs to stop ripping off its customers and bring back the v6.
Did you delete the catalytic? It's not a straight pipe exhaust if that's not deleted, it sounds good though!!! Although it's illegal in California to do so
