Interesting. Several medical experts on you tube, say that fluoride in tooth paste and water including mouth wash, destroy the oral biome and nitric oxide, both play a major part the bodies function the brain etc. it’s difficult to know who to believe.

Been using Synsodine and their effective, haven't had cavities on my teeth. It's also maybe because of my e-toothbrush, the Oclean Flow and they're both good for sensitive teeth too!
Is vinegar so detrimental to our teeth that brushing tartar with it would cause more harm than good? Vinegar dissolves calcium deposits pretty well. It seems like a simple solution to me but I have never heard anyone suggest it.
I think it's not recommended because the gum under tartar is usually infected and sometimes bleeds while its being cleaned. Pouring something acidic like vinegar in a place like this could lead to bigger infections that would even compromise a healthy tooth.
More promotion of fluoride. Can you expand on what calcifying effects the research has proven it can have on your pineal gland (makes melatonin) and irreversible sleep issues? You can absorb .5mg every day when you brush. Also, 99.9% of people will rinse after so you get little to no tooth benefits and some potential health issues. No thanks.
Welll im 9 years old and I use colgate and some times I swallow A tiny tiny bit because it always gets stuck in my mouth at the same time I didn't fell anything or posin in my mouth or body and im in Turkey and everyday now I use a toothpaste called powerdent so is powerdent good for my teeth and whiting it or not? Heyy! Iam having some problems with my teeth and I need your help please . So my teeth have started going clear at the tips and my top 2 teeth are white in some places and yellow in some ( on the two teeth) I use the sodium flouride one you showed in the video by colgate plz recommend to me what to do because I am really struggling:(
My dentist told me that the tips of your teeth going clear is probably a sign of acid erosion. I drink a lot of diet sodas which apparently are quite acidic. I've started having the dentist do a fluoride treatment at my cleanings and I've started using tooth pastes with higher fluoride content like Sensodyne.
My front teeth are way bigger than the brush head, because of gum receding. What should I do? I am doing circular motions with the electric tooth brush so I can cover all the tooth's surface, but I am afraid that will damage my gums even more. Can you help me Dr Marcus?
Don't do circular motions with an electric toothbrush, just move it over your teeth as shown in the video. You also may be brushing too much or too aggressively - you don't need to brush for more than ~3-4 mins and try holding the brush with your non dominant hand which will give you an idea of how much pressure you are using to brush your teeth
@@elias6068 In that case you should start at your gumline and sweep the toothbrush downward, then lift it off your tooth and start at the gumline again. Don't go up and down the tooth or in circles because the abrasion on your gums will make recession worse. After further research I also found that electric toothbrushes aren't a good choice because you can't regulate the brushing to be softer on the gums. An ultrasoft regular toothbrush is the way to go.
Toothpaste went ALL over, you could only turn on when in your mouth and still i think speed is too high,have a feeling it will knock lose your fillings.
nobody ever teaches you how to brush properly when your a kid. I've only just learnt the right way at 28. Schools should teach this.. oral care is important. Dentist never tell you this they just check your teeth tell you not to drink sugary drinks and that's it!
