My parrotlet knew 100 words and 25 phrases before he passed at a very early age.. These birds are great talkers. People used to say the could learn a couple of words. Not true at all. They can say anything, just have to work with them.

Yes I was leery when I rescued him, but it seems he gets the upper hand. Plus The American Bulldog has such a bad rap and this just proves its a fallacy.
That's great that they play. A lot of people's dogs and cats just maintain a fragile peace like a handful of middle eastern nations. They only tolerate one another and violence can break out at the drop of a hat.

That's very impressive, great teaching with your bird! May I ask what age did he start to talk? I have a 10 week old male Parrotlet just adopted this week. On the internet, it states 5 months.
Aw, Quebert is really, really adorable! I LOVE his "here kitty, kitty" and his "tickle, tickle." He speaks really clearly, just amazing. My parrotlet Bogart cocks his head and listens, sometimes cheeping in response. He is 4 months old and likes to make noises.... we'll see if he picks up words or not. We listen to Koolaid too! :)
Like I said he loves watching Koolaid and it is so much fun to teach him new things ! I absolutely love my baby boy and i could see how someone would want another!!
