Hey Ray, 2 up (realistically 3 up because I weigh 150kgs myself) full tank and gear empty live wells best I have her is 61.5mph by myself 63.5mph still playing around with engine height and props..
you probs wont see this but what is the miller rod xflc like is it nice and bendy or stiff . is it really lite or heavy. just want to know as i might buy one. ( great vid Aswell I'm def subbing
Hey Max, Love the XFLC it’s a weird type of rod for all the good reasons. Very light to fish with and casts really well. But we’re I find it comes into its own is soft tip and massive power in the lower section. Great for all types of applications I mainly use mine for throwing Mussel lures..
@@zeus_fishing2091 thanks for that im probably just going to keep my infeet ex but i still want a second setup. do you know any good rods for under 400 with a good allrounder taper
I thought at first you were Jamie McKeown. But yr not, I’d say yr pretty close as a fisherman to his standard. I’ve never caught a kilo Bream myself. Got a 42 off the point at Spit Bridge, but it was skinny and only came in at 850grms!
Hey Justin, Cheers mate, Jamie is a gun bream angler thanks for the compliment. Unlucky, a 42cm bream is usually a kilo plus bream.. Keep fishing structure and you will catch a bunch if you can stop em 😉
Still waiting for an invite Dane! I was talking to you at the boat ramp in the green Hobie PA12 360. I haven't had much luck pulling decent size on surface lately. Used a spinnerbait the other day & cleaned up. Got a new PB for the Nepean at 45cm!
Insulation stripped about 20/30 mill of it on your trace line so it slides near the hook. Those bream are smashing the oysters on that pier. Little green back crabs , with small splitshot or smallest running sinker to the swivel 300 mm trace line , i use suicide hooks 2/0’. Big bream big choppers / clean that fist bream see what there eatin ,
Nice fish mate, where they good fighting or nah? I myself have caught a decent amount of Yellow Belly and Murray Cod but never caught Australian Bass. In fact I didn't even know they existed until now.
Mate enjoyed fishing with ya😂 where’s ya yak gone? Could you fish up there in a yak or too far to peddle? I wish we had caught some more but enjoyed the time and scenery. Cheers 😎👊
