Very good combination of airframe and engine. I don't recall seeing any other examples so well matched for speed and sound. Recognize the HP on the tail as being on Howard Pardue's Corsair many years ago, met him once at an airshow.
Nice flight looking at converting mine have had around 30 flights on mine as a DF version only issue is a weak nose leg pin also just fitted a gyro on roll has made it very stable.
@neglg2353 The builder used this conversion set with a few alterations. He used the pipe but made the 500ml fuel tank himself from a small pet bottle. www.hab.se/bygghobby/hab-cnc/phoenix-model-hawk-90mm-turbin-konverteringskitt-x45
@@Teus01 thanks, I am usin k45 which has twice idle thrust of x45 (measured 400 vs 200.grams) So I am trying to slow ot down by flying with 29cm CG, to help keep.nose up at landing ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9FxaEYmWStA.htmlsi=lyjrQcX7kbKtOfqn
Hi, very nice maiden! I am actualy building the same model kit, so i want to ask, is it possible to get in touch with Hans to share some informations? kind regards
On your proctor eindecker, what travel, angle, etc do you have your wings warping at? Also what engine do you have. I have an asp fa400 radial and I’m having trouble finding where people keep their throws for the wing warping
Mine have 1 inch up and down at the wingtip. See here for a video that shows the setting I made when building: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BqOlZPHlq08.htmlsi=eBSg-hXfzVmrupcE
More than enough….. I fly with a Saito FG-57TS, perfect match for this model. See my flying videos throughout the years, flying now almost 10 years with this model. For all details see my build thread at rc scalebuilder forum: www.rcscalebuilder.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=15817&PN=1
That's one beautiful model, and I understand the time, and expense involved. However, I'd love to see it do a little more than make left handed circles. I'd hate to see this stunning model destroyed, but it is a fighter, capable of a loop, or a barrel roll. Not suggesting you try anything until you're comfortable. Looking forward to another video. Awesome plane!
Loop oké but barrel roll with a Pup…….. Did you ever saw the real one doing one? And with this engine/ model combination not possible at the moment, way to less power as you noticed…… We are planning a new lighter model for this engine but you don’t have to expect big performance from this rotary engine…….
@@Teus01 ok. I think it can hold a 1 g barrel roll tho, with the right deflection on the control surfaces, and utilizing engine torque. Don't crash it tho, I want to see more videos.
@@Teus01 Sounds very sensible. I find that if I finish on an absolute greaser the satisfaction is complete. When I get a quick fly in before work a nice landing sets me up for the rest of the day!
Congratulations on the successful first flight. A beautiful model, perfectly built! I wish you many more beautiful flights with the Nieuport N.11 Bébé!
Nice coverage, stable and smooth. If actual engine sound was dubbed in during flight, be tough to tell from a full size replica. The last one seemed to struggle about a bit. Cheers
