Just drop that tailgate and get some straps and keep piling it in. Do have to say that yeah should ask before going onto private property. Too many people here are sue happy, they'll climb in your bin, get hurt then sue you for getting hurt on their property. At my regular job we have so many "townies" that will show up and actually fistfight over things and leave ridiculous messes. We've had to trespass dozens of people in the last few years.
I enjoyed that video. It was a nice relaxing alternative to the scrapping videos. Silas from the "Adventures made from Scratch" channel has some videos about finding Morel mushrooms on his land 👍
haha those robins !! Been watching your stuff, and im hooked LOL... i live in michigan and when i seen those robins i knew it all to well LOL, they attack everything oh and Robins are the michigan " state bird " LOL
Ok, where do I sell the items? A typical scrap yard around here won't buy it..they are very basic, and stuck in the old times of junk, copper wire, cans, brass etc. any good suggestions? Thanks Mike, Columbus Ohio area
Really? That’s cool, I’ll have a look next time I see one! The dip switches are just the real teensy ones you usually need a small pointy thing to flip right?
Wow nice haul today, you no it's good when you gotta turn down mowers, and I love the alley gallery. Side job with the mowers wouldn't be too bad aye. Sucks about those tickets 😐.Try to have a better day😎🤟🏼
Do not forget you have footage of you checking the load really well, maybe they will see it as secure load as well brother. good luck bad sh-- always happens to good people stay safe brother
Thanks once again for sharing your content with us Thub. Sorry for the way it turned there at the end. It was going so well. Congrats with the trailer. I hope it brings you and yours a lot of joy.
That's how she rolls. Ups and downs. I think we all join in for the same reason. We watch for you. I watch ads when they are not 45 mins long. I see alot of that now. Today alone had a 3 hour ad, full documentary as an ad. Crazy. So continue showing all you want.I for one appreciate it. Look forward to the uploads weekly. Oh the mushroom video was a nice change up. Not sure where I would do that here in Newfoundland but looks like a great time to get out in nature and make a bit of coin. Keep it up Thub!
Follow up on the start of the vdeo. There are pros and cons about the situation. At least you weren't towed! We all been there. The registration would be on you, Thub 😂 It happens and can be resolved, thankfully. The insurance slip being sent over did sound a bit fishy to the cop. Looks like the lady set you up. Looking like you just got insurance during the traffic stop. So i see where the guy came from. Unfortunately that looked sus. Not saying I want to see it happen to you. Its all a bad time but yes. Lesson learned and a nice polo shirt or maybe break out the nicest suit and tie from the wardrobe for your date. I never under stood the outlook of cops and their view of securing a load. I spent years driving my truck. I also did make the straps visable, often bright orange or yellow on purpose. Honesty most time my loads were secure but I still put a strap on it, which didn't do anything BUT it was just for the cops to see. Thats it. As long as it looks like its all good. Then its all good to them. I have even put the straps on without tightening them. They were just sort of snug. And cops would pass on by. So that was a day wasn't it? But yes it was a good day despite the pull over. Now get the documents in order and play dress up for court and back to the grind! Love what you do. And more importantly i would love to donate to the "Document" fund. But I recently lost my job and now back to searching for one. Still scraping of course. So if I come across some coppers I'll send them your way!
I'd have been so livid with the insurance breaker, yes even though you should have had it in the vehicle etc etc, but even so damn, he made it so much worse. Lessons to be learned indeed! Hopefully court will drop the insurance thing once you get and explain. We love you thub and there will sometimes be the odd jam we get ourselves in, very frustrating and expensive but in perspective there are worse things that can happen to a person (I say that but I'd still be livid with myself😂) You don't have superthanks, I was going to send a little one towards your tickets, you might want to consider signing up for that future, if some of us send even $5 it would add up👍
The man, the myth and the legend treating us with another long adventure! Gotta say that is how interactions should be handled. Most people do get taken back when we play in their bins. I mean positive side is that they have more room after slme treasures are saved from the landfill. Back to the video now only 10ish minutes in so far. Love it Thub, as usual sir!
Best of luck fighting the tickets in court🤞 Whatever fines you do get stuck with, go to the Sheriffs office and make a payment plan/ agreement with them. That way you don't have to pay the whole amount immediately.
Here all we need to do is go see the city or county attorney show the paperwork and it is handled . Now as far as the unsecured load show the ofishall the video at the last stop to show how intertwined it is he or she may agree with you on the unneeded use of straping .
In the first slide off, when I saw the painting items, I knew you would have paint on yourself. With repairing the mowers, you should do a top notch repair, cleaning and sharpening the blades. I've known individuals who've done this mainly during the winter time, accumulating mowers late summer and fall.
That’s totally fair! I think it’s funny too haha, the fact that I had JUST spent all my money the very previous day and got a “great deal”, life is just silly sometimes
Tieing loads, keeping insurance, registration and maintenance on your truck are all "have tos" of doing business. Do whatever you have to do to continue with your videos. We love them!😊
secure your load, keep proof of current insurance, keep proof of registration. this isn't the first time this has happened to you. take steps to prevent it.
