For some reason it seems to me that Sasha may be from Belarus.. Hahahaha she loves potatoes so much and she has a Slavic name ( and her appearance is generally suitable for Belarusian girl )
I think Grisha is russian. I mean, Jaeger is totally a german surname, but Grisha is a russian nickname for Gregorius, and his design reminds me of Rasputin.
What indicates that? In Ymir story, we clearly see eldians are inspired in germanic tribes (they had germanic armor and weaponry, they have germanic names and archicteture, and Ymir is literally the name of the first giant in norse mithology) and marleyans are inspired by romans (they have some mix of roman and greek armor and weaponry, their cities are called Villa, Lago, Liberio, Monte, all are identical to romance languages, especially italian)
@@phgs_smnt I just watched a video saying Eldians are Jewish people because They’re based off of WA2 and how they are discriminated and used for the frontlines and things. Besides, not to be racist but a lot of them do kinda have big noses. But I can’t be talking because I have a wide nose, like, bro, it reaches out to Asia how wide my nose is.
@@YusoCrio Their situation outside the walls is clearly inspired by how nazis treated jews in the early days of the third reich. But that's just one aspect of it, and honestly, they do not have jewish features at all, about the nose, many have a "roman" nose, like Annie and Pieck, and that's not a jewish feature, you see this all the time with italian and greek people.
Is this based on their names? I would say that the names does fit perfectly with the countries assosiated with them. Atleast the German names is always easy to recognize
