The 374th Airlift Wing, Yokota Air Base, Japan is the only Airlift Wing in the Pacific. The Airlift Wing hosts a variety of aircraft but the most noticeable is the C-130 Hercules. Service members at Yokota Air Base are dedicated to performing and supporting wartime, training and humanitarian operations while also being friendly ambassadors with their Japanese Allies.
During World War II, many Japanese civilians were killed by indiscriminate attacks from American air raids. Despite this, I take pride as a Japanese citizen in our commitment to peace and in our willingness to honor and mourn even the American soldiers who were once our enemies.May the spirits of the fallen rest in peace.
It's record is better than many other aircraft. Air Force operates both h60s and v22s. Their h60s have a 1.70 10 year destroyed rate and their v22s have a 1.02.
