I Know pollocks work quite well and I don't think that he would have been bothered about a little bit of the edge of the canvas showing. Truth to materials and all that
As to the restoring of the paint, how would anyone know if you didn’t quite get it perfect? But I imagine the real difficulty is finding 1950’s house paint.
I know this is an old video. But I’m happy to say I am getting wonderful results in a gas kiln using a ilite clay ! Firing techniques are very important for success and the people in this lecture are spot on except max temp can range depending on clay source. But from my tests, K rich iron rich clays are important for best results. Cheers

I saw the film several years ago. I’ve always been a fan of Ed Harris and his portrayal of Pollack is amazing!! I didn’t know that Harris directed the movie and was so involved in its development. It shows.

I think 🤔💭 well actually I know it's probably the most disrespectful thing any creature/being living or dead with a soul or not can do. disturb the rest of the dead and in their own place of rest of all places. Jackson Pollack's art looks cool, and I very much doubt any of his critics could/would do the same thing. That is what so many of these "I could do that" people miss. Why didn't you then?
