" I just don't know why the major food brands don't just put the real thing in a pack and sell it?" QUICK ANSWER: High quality patis require high quality ingredients and materials to make, as well as the time it takes for real patis to ferment. Real patis costs a lot to make, and major food brands cater to most Filipinos who are somewhat financially burdened to afford the real deal. Hence the words "BUDGET PACK" or "TIPID POUCH" on the products reviewed in the video.
Caroling before is so much fun.. the more kids, the more fun and happier the moments..homes don't care how many children or how much money they could give to the carolers, what matters is they give whatever they have or even how much they could...the essence of GIVING WITHOUT EXPECTING IN RETURN IS THE MOST THAT MATTERS SPECIALLY IN THESE CELEBRATION..WE DONT THINK WE ARE SCAMMED OR ANY NEGATIVE TO ANYONE SPECIALLY IN CHRISTMAS TIMES... DAHIL NANGINGIBABAW SA PUSO NAMIN ANG MAPASAYA ANG SINUMAN.. AND BE THANKFUL KUNG ANU MAN ANG MERON KAMI .. KUNG WALA KAMING MAIBIGAY AT KAKANTAHAN KAMI NG " THANK U THANK U ANG BABARAT NINYO THANK U!" HINDI NAMIN YAN SINESERYOSO PARA LNG MASIRA ANG ARAW NAMIN..WE TAKE IT JUST LIKE A JOKE TO STILL STAY POSITIVE... FOREIGNERS SHOULD LEARN MORE OF HOW TO ADJUST AND TAKE SARCASM BUT NOT IN NEGATIVE WAYS.. ISA YAN SA KAKAIBANg WAY OF MINDSET AND UNDERSTANDING NG PINOY (DEEP OPEN MINDED)NA WALA SA IBANG LAHI.. REASONS WHY WE CAN EASILY ADOPT AND UNDERSTAND ANYONE EVEN WITH OUT WORDS
There are now many Chinese brand Soy Sauce in the market. I heard and tried the mushroom sou sauce and it blends well with pancit. Can you make a taste test on this product also?
Silver swan is more natural soy sauce compare to Datu puti. Silver swan has black grainy mostly at the bottom and I think it's the soy beans that's why its much better than Datu puti.
Real soy sauce has natural glutamates. They're much more subtle than MSG. If anyone wonders what MSG tastes like, Kewpie Mayonnaise (the one with MSG instead of yeast extract) will give you a good idea. I'm not a fan of that mayo. It has, beyond saltiness, the savory but highly processed taste of boullion cubes or flavored chips. That's the MSG.
To be a true bonifide pinoy, try balut (duck eggs) and rock salt. Don't know if you tried this already, but vlog it and guaranteed you'll earn tons of likes in this channel.
Mr. Urbano you are a genuine, down to earth man from what I've seen and your opinions are not only precise but detailed. I started with your patis review but will be catching up with the rest of your videos. Thank you for the recipe, chef!
Perhaps what the root of the “conyo” reference is in itself a misunderstanding by the less fortunate in our population. Originally, this word was used exclusively by the spanish speaking filipinos. As it still is to this day. This conyo word is an expletive used daily by spanish speaking filipinos. Same is true in spain. Now it just happens to be that spanish speaking filipinos mainly belong to the affluent families. Therefore the masses now refer to conyo as being the upper class. But to be a real conyo, you have to be a spanish speaking filipino and be able to use it correctly. Hopefully non conyos understand this.

The silver swan is all the same as the the other two same exact ingredients minus the msg. Kikkoman is wheat soy and water brewed. He blind tasted pure quality to junk
Stay far away from "MSG", as it being a "Excitotoksin", it just overstimulates cells so they get destroyed, even die, with the results of some brain damage 😢 It's more damaging than alcohol and smoking, that should tell you something!!!
