Bringing Fragrances To The Masses Here on this Channel there will be discussions of what I like to call 3 Tiers Of Fragrances Each Tier has a different price point which gives everyone an opportunity to find fragrances in their price range and build a collection based on scent profiles.
NYC Fragrances is a brand to establish an understanding of fragrances and inform men and women about the enormous world of fragrances that exist from Inspired Houses to Designer to Niche/Indie.
If You Smell Good You Feel Good Hope You Enjoy My Channel
I recently ordered this because of how distinctive it seemed to be. Really interesting that there's a similar fragrance. Do you think they set out to clone Soleil de Jeddah? Seems odd to copy such a niche fragrance.
The first time I smelled a Junaid Perfumes fragrance was back in 2008, although that house was known as "Syed Junaid Alam" back then. I went to a Tribal festival that had belly dancers and one of the dancers lit up the entire auditorium with the most pungent exotic beautifully interesting fragrance. After the show was over, I got to catch up with the dancer and asked her what she was wearing and she told me Syed Junaid Alam. So I checked everywhere in person at perfume shops and dept stores and none of them had this brand or had even heard of it before. Until one day I was on Ebay and said hmm I wonder if they could be on there and low and behold they were! The company was literally ancient and historic, it had literally been around for hundreds of years in the country Bahrain, in the middle east. That house served royalty and had so much history that it was like the middle eastern brand equivalent to say something like the house of "Creed". So, I started blind buying their fragrances with no note break down and just went off the cool unique look of their bottles. All the ones that didn't have oud in them I loved, because my virgin western nose had never smelled anything as grotesque and polarizing as oud before... I would get stopped everywhere I went when wearing Junaid Perfumes because at that time there wasn't that huge explosion of middle easternfragrances in America, so I really stood out. It was funny because even though I am of Scandavian/Spanish decent, when I would be in dept stores the Middle Eastern Clerks would speak to me in Arabic or Farsi because they assumed from my smell that I was too lol... Fast forward 16 years later and this house now called Junaid Perfumes is still my favorite middle eastern fragrance house. They do not advertise that much and are still not known by most of the western world. Now I can tolerate oud because I have simply gotten used to it over time and have come to appreciate it. Anyways, I love your reviews and am so glad you Gave Junaid Perfumes some exposure to your western audience.
Great video , and very well explained. I want to try a Dior but not sure what one to get. I am a young 73 year old & do salsa which is a very close up dance as you know . I did try the 2020 version & the lady’s loved it . Can’t believe it has so many negatives. You just got a new sub 👍🏻
I complimented a person wearing this and really liked the scent. I asked for the name and my boyfriend gifted me the 50ml. It is very strong, how do you recommend I wear this? It smels different from what I remember it, so I am really trying to enjoy the fragrance as it was a gift. Do I spray a very small amount on myself? My clothes?
Usually 4 to 5 sprays for me...2 behind my neck 1 on each wrist pulse point and 1 near my belt line this way the scent surrounds me and is not directly in my face
@@nycfragrances my man, thank you very much. Going to get my hands on this. Fyi I absolutely agree with you, their are fragrances that are specifically meant for men and specifically meant for woman. I personally don’t believe in that unisex crap but that’s just me. Much respect from Pomona ca.
I am glad that I came across this colonge and now I am enjoying Polo Green Intense like anything... Loads of Love❤ from India to Polo Green Intense. However, I think they need to increase logitivity and projection.
Strange scent. I got it. Put it in my wine cooler at approx 60 degrees consistent. I wish i had the masterful olfactory capability of all you other guys ..i sprayed it on my forearms.. weird. The dry down is sorta nice. Like a nice soapy smell....i dont get the individual particular notes ..
No they are usually fragrances inspired or sharing similarities to the original to create a new release. Some may argue that is what clone brands do. In this case the original creating brand is releasing the flanker. But the question does make me think 🤔
@@nycfragrances Ah okay, i appreciate your input. I had no idea. So basically the Enternity Summer for Men 2020 is real. I ordered one from Ebay for like 35 bucks.
I dont recommend blind buying fragrances but if you try it at a Chanel Store in Canada and get a better price online go for it...Chanel does not usually discount
Got my afnan supremacy silver in today, but i have to say it smell a slight difference then the other two clone i have of aventus. This afnan has a weird smoked ham smell. Maybe if i let it sit for a couple weeks and try it again.. so far cdnim (edp) and Al-haramain le-venture (intence) work good for me.
I just tried Platinum Egoiste in decant bottle last week. It remind me of old fragrance. I myself enjoy it but I don't know if people nowadays will like it's scents 😊
I sprayed Sauvage elixir in a card and put it in my pocket. My hand smelled like it for days, I had to finally take it out lol. It's potent, but pricey.
@@nycfragrances so being it leans feminine do you wear it? Also I've noticed putting the cap back on presses on the sanitizer and it dispatches the fragrance. Do you have this issue as well?
