Yeah. I need to pop open both of my XBoxes open and take a look. They are working fine at the moment. I suspect the Halo XBox I have has one of the gold capacitors that doesn't need to be replaced.
How has this rebuild kit held up since? Trying to decide whether or not to rebuild or just go 1098 cuz that's a direct bolt up and from what I understand a better design.
Soooo., a year after watching it the first time it doesn’t look any easier. Think I’ll get my sister’s 5 year old to reach in through the ram air inlets and clean mine lol😂
Where do the fuel vent hoses connect to? Mine have been replaced and messed with. I have a rubber hose coming off the intake near the engine and it’s been wrapped with wire tape. Do both of them connect there?
one connects to the air filter box front bottom to let liquid drain out and has a one way reed valve at the other end under the bike so air can not flow up to the air filter box .. the other hose should have a Y connection and connects to the fuel tank under the cover around the ignition key you will see 2 tubes
@@mikeducat8729 thank you Mike! I also just got my bike somewhat put together and tried starting for the first time…I have no fuel pump priming and my fuel relay just clicks once when on and sometimes when off. Does it seem like the relay is bad, or it’s functioning and the pump has died?
Nice job on the tool. I made a similar tool from a sheet of alloy and an old intermediate plate. I cut the slots for the basket and just bolted the intermediate plate in position. Saved me having to file all the lugs on the inside.
Keen to see you do this service, Mine is due also. Interested to see what brand /weight oil you put in and what you use to drive the new seal in.. 😎 I actually enjoy servicing the forks LOL....
Thanks you covered most everything I was needing to know, you also started the motorcycle prior to draining the oil. But said nothing about warming the oil up for smoother draining I think that's a good idea is it not, to warm up the oil prior to get a more complete draining and faster drainage? IDK , but I think so Anyway thanks again
Buenas tengo una Ducati 1098 que me rompe el fusible de cuadro de instrumentos al conectar el borne...sin poner la llave...sabes si el problema podría venir de la ecu??
CORRECTION: Grill swap can be done with CLK center support and safety latch. No cutting of donor grill needed. The parts are plug and play. Swap looks stock because it uses all stock parts.
Hi , I have a question can you please tell me where the other small tube/ hose is connected to where your seen in the video that the liquid dripping out ? At the end you see in the video that you touch it and say it dripping out. I mean that tube! 😊
Hi Mike I have a 749S here. This outcome is a little counterintuitive. I was thinking as the belts heat they would stretch and get looser, then get tighter when the engine is cooled. Interesting that the 'resting' setting is now well below the original recommended 110 which I assume you started at. Did you ride the bike after the initial belt installation and before this test? If so how many miles?
i think the engine expands more then the belts can. have been riding bike with initial setting . have done the belts 3 times this is the first time i have measured the Hz . normally just set the gap between tensioner pulley the same it was from factory 8.7 mm and 8.8 mm
