Field Day on TV has been produced weekly by Embrapa Technological Information since 1998, with the aim of disseminating technologies resulting from research developed by Embrapa and partners. The show's topics are presented to different audiences in plain and accessible language, through practical interviews and news reports on practices and technological innovations aimed at the development of rural and urban agricultural areas. On Brazilian television, Dia de Campo na TV is broadcast every Friday by Canal Rural; and by NBr and TV Câmara on Sundays, with reruns during the week; and is also transmitted by other partner channels.
