Public speaking is not your strong suit, it is agonizing listening to you almost breathlessly trying to get the words out, you need to practice and get your talking down to a smoother pattern and not so may drastic stops and starts, But that is a fantasic car
It's the little old lady from Pasadena The little old lady from Pasadena (Go granny, go granny, go granny, go) Has a pretty little flowerbed of white gardenias (Go granny, go granny, go granny, go) But parked in a rickety old garage There's a brand new shiny red super stock Dodge And everybody's sayin' that there's nobody meaner than Then little old lady from Pasadena She drives real fast and she drives real hard She's the terror of Colorado boulevard
beautiful- I had this car back in the day with 365 HP and white interior. Thank goodness no one junked up this car with cluttered up side exhaust. I love the basic uncluttered look-all others look fake and over done trying to impress . thank you for the memory of my first Vette. Is this car for sale?
The last year for the 283 powered Corvette was 1961. In 1962, the 327 was introduced. The 1965 fuel injected 327 was the last fuel injected Corvette for many years. In 1965, you could only get fuel injection with the 327.
This car was bid to $29k (and not sold) in June of 2021 on BaT. Where is the car now? I have never had as much fun watching someone else drive such a fine car.
So I missed the weight on the car which would been high valuable information. I saw one of these a couple years ago at the Mopar Nationals in Columbus Ohio really cool cars. by the way what did these cars run in the quarter back in the day? Could they get 11's. I have a 64 polara 500 with Max wedge clone in it. 727 reverse valve body console bucket seats battery in the back 3-in exhaust disc brakes front, engine built to stock specifications a&a manifold a&a transmission work PPI headers.. wait I sound like this guy only I don't want to sell mine.
Too restored.... any survivors? Those I like. Never liked the "totally restored". They are not used as was intended. Sad, but beautiful and powerful for sure.... when used.
One thing you did not mention on normal push button cars they go reverse, neutral, drive, second, first but on the race cars they go reverse, neutral, first, second, drive that way the driver would not hit neutral by accident when racing but you have hit on many of the facts and it's such a bad ass car and rare.
Gorgeous 1964 Dodge Hemi. Thanks for showing it to us. Dad bought a "run on the line 64 Dodge with a slant 6, three on the tree from Mac Tracy's Dodge dealership in Somerville, NB. (up the hill from the Hartland Covered Bridge) It would go like the wind and had lots of miles on it when dad traded it. I loved that car.
