He is the founder of Whale & Star Press and the author of books in philosophy, poetry, and art, as well as scientific papers.
Martínez Celaya is the Roth Family Distinguished Visiting Scholar at Dartmouth College.
It was a huge sacrifice to take out the main character but he needed to go... and then the little girl came in and all of a sudden the painting worked.

Thank you for your words of support. In this video, Enrique is painting with oil and wax. The way he paints makes reference to drawing in this case, because the painting is related to a drawing by the late German artist Käthe Kollwitz. This painting was shown in 2021 in Berlin as part of an exhibition called Enrique Martínez Celaya and Käthe Kollwitz: Von den rested und den Letzten dinged (Of First and Last Things).
