We love rummaging through dumpsters and finding valuable stuff people throw out! We also do storage unit auctions and flip other treasures we find from dumpster diving.
We are on a journey to become financially free as multi-millionaires, and this channel will document the journey and the steps we take to get there.
Thanks for watching everyone! Please hit that subscribe button and help us grow! For those who were asking, on the last video, here is a link to our eBay store (we post more stuff daily): www.ebay.com/str/moderntreasurehuntersxl
2nd question. If she’s gonna sit in the truck then she can get out and video your finds. You both gotta lot to learn as to what makes a popular dumpster diving channel. What a following appreciated, like a recap of the hauls. Folks love metal scrappers cause they take you to the scrap yard, you see poundage and prices. Maybe you need to watch the Scrap and pallet man, Mike the scavenger, Curbside junkies , …. A lot of education between creator and subscribers. Many pickers form friendships. Get a clue if you all want to grow your following. You have to cater a bit to your audience.
I’m new to your channel. I’ve been doing this 40 years and s female . You are the only scrapper I know who doesn’t take… 1 ziplock bags 2 trash bags 3 laundry soap 4dryer sheets. 5 Unexpired canned food. I taken un expired food and donate it to our blessing box . Along with anything I find kids can use for art, school, learning, reading I’m a wood furniture scrapper into building and wood restoration, a carpenter, and useful house hold items. Metals, motors, batteries, cords, dumpster dive, curbside scrap, do house clean outs.

Bottom line. When deciding between a long-term CD or putting money in the stock market, always take into account your goals and how long you'll need to achieve them. For long-term plans like retirement, the market offers better returns than locking up your cash in a CD.
Investing can bring you many benefits, such as helping to give you more financial independence. As savings held in cash will tend to lose value because inflation reduces their buying power over time, investing can help to protect the value of your money as the cost of living rises.
Really depends on personal situation. General wisdom is you should be at minimum doing whatever your works 401k match is (if they offer), and maxing out a Roth IRA. This is not financial advice. Personally, I invest every extra penny I can and keep my expenses as if I am broke.
My son and I are doing the same thing mainly with metal scrapping- working on buying our truck now. Like the tracking as I am a spreadsheet nerd as well. thankk you for the videos
Ya know ya should check the boxes (insta pot box) and with towels, throws, bath mats sheets could be donated to an animal shelter js that's what most other divers do.........
General rules: 1) Don't go on the property unless obtained permission from GC first 2) Don't dive when there are workers actively using the dumpster (as it disrupts their work flow) 3) Don't dive if the dumpster is explicitly marked as a scrap metal dumpster Generally, if the dumpster is not on the property (i.e. sitting on the street), or if it's on a "private property public access" area (for example, a public university dumpster), it's fair game. But always check your own local laws first.
Howdy Wayne! We are doing great just been crazy busy with work . . . so storage units have taken a backseat for now. Hoping to get out to do one sometime in June!
I just found your channel. Thank you for saving everything you can from these dumpsters. I absolutely hate seeing waste- especially the kinds of stuff these college kids throw away. These kids don't realize that money doesn't grow on trees. Keep up the great work!
I wish we could take everything! Unfortunately we have limited space and time . . . so we have to prioritize. Sometimes I leave stuff behind because I still have a lot of dumpsters to check and want to save space in the truck.
