Not sure what that flag stands for. Freedom? Whose freedom? Yours or mine? The bigger the flag the more freedom you have? Maybe it’s just patriotism. Kinda like Nuremberg circa 1936. That is a good saying to tell your kids when they’re in sports and somebody in the crowd yell something disparaging at them. I always told my kids that anything they do in life, somebody is gonna have something to say about it. So tune them out.
Thats sometimes true, people that realistically do more than you might try to make you feel inferior to them by down talking to you saying you don’t do enough to be on their level. But most often the lazy guy will be the one to criticize the actions they have never done before which is what you are doing.
