This looks like trash. That makeup artist should be fired. I wouldn't even watch this if a pirated copy popped up on RU-vid. It's Pearlman or nothing. He was the embodiment of the character that is Hellboy. Or WAS Hellboy at this point.
Ahh no the 3rd hellboy with harper was fantastic!!!! The story... ok not giving that much credit.. ok the story sucked. The characters, fantastic, played by fantastic actors... come now credit be due.
One last thing remember from hellboy 1... hellboy don't age like us " ".. he's a teenager in a full grown body.. Ron did not portray that, harper did suck it! 😂
Disagree, RP was just an okay Hellboy at best. Did not feel like the comic character to me at all, was fine for del Toro's interpretation. But it ain't Hellboy.
This one is hard to gauge. They have the original comic writer Mike Mignola writing, along with Christopher Golden, a well-established horror novel and comic writer himself making up the story, then for directing, you have Brian Taylor, who wrote and directed the 2 Crank movies, Gamer (2009), Happy! (series), but also directed the abyssmal second Ghost Rider film, and wrote the horrible Jonah Hex film. The cast is a collection of fairly attractive, but mostly unknown TV stars, and much of the production crew is an absolute hodgepodge of people from wildly different genres. I think if the focus on a really tight horror narrative with fairly limited worldbuilding an skip out on trying to repeatedly lay groundwork for sequels that may never come, that this could be a really solid entry, tho.
I wonder how do guys like this get to go to these press screenings? I can understand inviting RU-vidrs who have hundreds of thousands or even million of subscribers to go see this movie to get the word out but ive seen a lot of RU-vidrs who went to this screening that don't have even 5k subscribers.
Because it’s not just about subscriber count. These brands, believe it or not, actually want honest feedback from genuine fans of the their content. They’re not just trying to get a bunch of influencers and hype beast in the theaters to oversell these movies to their mindlessly loyal followers, they actually want a wide range of honest feedback from “guys like this” so they have a better idea of if they should continue to invest into future projects and create long term success for their brands.
As a person who grew up on the two Unico animated films and brought an English copy of the original Unico Manga. Samuel Sattin and Tezuka Productions picked the best time to reintroduce Unico to the next generation. Unico has beloved in The West for decades now!
I agree i feel it's just as good as die hard but i do prefer this than die hard being i am a van damme fan of his classic films and just pre ordered this in 4k and can't wait to see it in a more pristine quality and i will going to like it even more.
This movie is an abomination! I had to stick pins in my ears, and this movie also made me eyes bleed. If anybody says ANYTHING good about this movie, DO NOT BELIEVE THEM! This needs to be deleted from existence. AI cant even wright this bad
It's a shame that this film will get overlooked because there's no action heroes, flying cars, robots fighting each other etc. It's a thinking movie and today with most people's short attention spans, they don't like to think. I like all kinds of movies and that includes thinking movies with lots of meaning. I haven't seen this movie yet but I'm excited to see it. It's not playing in my town therefore I have to drive 100 miles to go see it, 200 miles round trip. But that's okay because I do it quite a bit, I love going to the movies and I love watching Indie Movies, so, I have to drive a hundred miles one way to see them. When I do go, I make a day of it. I plan out my day with the movie being the focal point. It's all an event for me. Drive the hundred miles, go to some Antique Malls, Thrift Stores, get a Smash Burger, then head to the movies, get my popcorn and soda, kick back and enjoy the next two hours. After the movie I drive home the hundred miles thinking about the movie I just watched. Get home between 9pm and 10pm, feed my fur faces, wash-up, brush my teeth, then go to bed, still thinking about the movie. I'm a single 68-year-old man with 10 thousand movies in my personal collection. Yeah, I love movies, but I also play video games and I have a 2020 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pinball Machine in my living room. I'm just a kid at heart enjoying my twilight years. I plan on driving the two-hundred-mile round trip tomorrow. Can't wait to see "Daddio."
I took a particularly cute date past the Condor on our way to a dance club and the bouncer offered her a job on the spot. My date, a small town girl from a Puget Sound island was not impressed. Then, there was gunfire between two Asian gangs in the club we were in which ended the night and that relationship prematurely.
Brighton was a disgusting manbaby. Harry is a pathetic dog. Nigel was very chill and I felt he was out of place among all these chaotic children. Dom is hella boring and forgettable. Christine has WAY too much of an ego with nothing of substance to back it up. Stevan is a huge POS for ghosting Alara. This show was a joke but I think Nigel came out on top.
You should look into James Yeager. He was a RU-vid creator and ran tactical shooting classes. The name of the tactical classes is Tactical Response. Unfortunately James died from ALS. James is one of the marauders. He is the one with the AK gets shot in the hand then draws his Glock and shoots one handed then gets hit in the head. He has the line (don’t move b$&@#).
I lived this era.. It is a brotherhood movie that hasn't been sanitized for today's world. Men are macho, and I love what they now called Toxic masculinity. I love toxic males, I think we've gone to far trying to take the male out of men. No politically correct crap. Believe it or not, this was more reality thank Brando's film. "The Wild ones". The Hell's angle's did exist. I loved the movie. Austin Butler is beautiful and sexy. thanks for this great reaction. Mary
OMG! So glad you guys came up in my feed. Went to morning 🌄 showing Friday 6/21/24 in a suburb of Chicago that has a noticeable biker culture of it's own here. (Sometimes Real Ones 😮😳) Tony sounds like Roach! 😆 This is the glowing review that validates and verifies what I thought I was watching in a theatre full of boomers. Interestingly to me because I follow the Strauss- Howe Generational theory of history. Boomers Ruined Biker clubs is a theme here too. The interplay between Greatest and Silent and Boomers is another thing they nailed perfectly here. The guy from Zipco hates Pinkos was good. Funny Sonnie from California looked like a zombified version of Sonnie Barger or the HA at the Altimont Infamous Rolling Stones concert in 1969. And yet you sense there was a guy out there who looked exactly like that.
Huge fan of Savannah. I first saw her as Cleo in the 4th season of Wynonna Earp and there was something about her that immediately caught my attention. She was fabulous as Cleo then went on the absolutely OWN the role of Zoey in Surreal Estate, and now the badass that is Angela in Reginald the Vampire.
all on film except for the night scenes. That's why old movies using that kind of film used to operate with night filters instead of actually filming at night.
