Developer for 30 years, starting new to WordPress and this is the first channel that actually explains things rather than causing more confusion. Thank you. Everything else is just another sales pitch or a lazy reason to pump out useless WP content.
Question: I have one question, that is I built a client a website with element, elemental Pro and elementary AI. I purchased a starter AI plan. After completion of project hosted website on clients hosting platform. Client is very satisfied with the design and the content on the website. Now project has been completed. Should I need to pay again in next month for elemental AI, if not the content that is generated by the elementary AI will be removed from our website ?
Hmm... I love manual cars, and I prefer coding my websites by hand in HTML and CSS 🗿 Yes, initially it takes time, but after the majority of the work is done, you have something that's completely your own, and you can easily download your website and migrate to another web host.
Do we seriously not just have the ability to drop a widget in to a grid container and span multiple columns or rows?? This process of nesting containers, inside containers, inside containers seems irritatingly convoluted. I should be able to start a text widget at column 1 and span four columns. I should be able to add another text widget to start at row 2 column 2, span two columns and two rows. I really thought Elementor would have handled this better. They've completely nerfed the power of Grid. 😵💫
Lovely explanation. Great help to those who actually wants to understand how JS , rest api and php collaborates and function with Wordpress. Explanation was wonderful
Exactly what I needed! I am running into a problem though: when I add text into the FOOTER box, the ones above jump to be very big as well, which I don't want. Can you help? Essentially I want to have a picture on the left side, right next to it two boxes: header and text underneath each other
great video. how can we get the value selected through a radio button by a user ? (we provide list of services through radio button, and need to know which service the user selected)
Hi Alex. Great video. I have a couple of questions, though. This size image (using your image) at these settings does not fill the entire screen on my computer. So there is white space at the sides. I have a 17 inch laptop so possibly that may impact this. Second point -there is a gap between top of image and bottom of the header. So the image does not fill the entire top and sides as you have shown. I have the same settings as you 1200 width, 750 min height on image, and the home page title is turned off (not visible). Not sure why are these happening
Hey! Could you do a video on managing and optimizing MySQL databases for WordPress/WooCommerce? I’d love to understand how it works and how I can use it to improve my WordPress development skills. Thanks! 😊
FYI: This does not work without a Zapier Webhook. Unfortunately this video does not cover how to set up the web hook. So this Video is a waste of time!
Thanks my dude! I have never been able to wrap my head around grids and how to use them, but now I see them as a great way to incorporate them with flexbox, and not to be so scared. LOL. TY!
This just reminded myself that it still boggles me how the javascript libraries and developer boom managed to introduce 10s and 100s of times higher wait-times just because so much unused junk is introduced. Making a functional copy of the site in the video on the same database, infrastructure and client in pure html/css/javascript should navigate almost as fast as static html minus cache-data.
Well done dude You recreated the Joomla versitle module layout i remembered This was rather symplistic for short explantion but i played with grid and flex and recreated my fav joomla template with H top Menu L content center R misc boxes Well bloody done .... you can create some complex sites i didnt think WP cooped with 🏆
Hi Alex, I already had a Donations page on my website. Then followed your tutorial & installed and activated wpGive on my website up to instructions 3:47 minutes; then went on my published site to see my already created website. If there are two Donations pages? There was only one donation page with message thank you for using Tylor's template. your walk thru the tutorial doesn't say anything about such a message. Got concerned and deleted the wpGive plug in & other pages it created. Now the Donation page I originally created shows up in the pages menu with its content. But, on the site the Donation page redirects to Home page. Need help to understand what's going on!!! Emptied cash and trash. Still Donations page redirects to home page.
hi i am designing a website for a client and i want to know about running costs of domain, and maintainence , how much should i charge and how to i present this information ?
How you numbered each item in the gridbox example helped a lot. These new layouts have been doing my head in after using just sections + columns for so long. So flexbox sounds like it's the new "sections + columns" correct? It'll also be responsive and push things to new lines on mobile, etc?
Dude, you're very good at communicating this complex topic. As someone who has relied strictly on plugins, I now see the value of knowing a little bit about PHP. Thanks for the help.
