Why do you guys keep your shields so close in to your bodies? They're basically worthless when held that way. Try extending them out and opening them up a little, and you might be surprised how much more useful they'll be.
If this were a fight using historically weighted weapons and where both head and hands were valid targets that'd be true. It's not though, and the ruleset makes the dynamics different enough that It makes more sense to hold shields closer.
