The Singing Men's Quartet started in Grace Cathedral located in Akron, OH. The following videos were from the 1980's to early 1990's. I hope you enjoy!
Definitely don't make anointed music like this any longer ! Thanks Mark , Laddy , Bud and Woody ! ( Even Keith n Rocky look so young here !! Greetings and Blessings from an old friend ~ Matthew Nichols 1979-1991 G.C. member . (Watermelon man )
When these guys weren't singing they'd catch the folks who'd fall backwards when the Reverend Angley smacked them on the forehead so they'd be slain in the Spirit! Yea Yea Yea! ☺
Not bad, but nothing like you guys used to do back in the 70's.... I wish you could upload those amazing classics like "All the Glories of his Love," "Master of the Sea," "Calvary Isn't Just another Hill," "I've come to far to Look Back," et al.
Guys, the songs you were doing back in the 1970s were so much better, can you please upload from 1974-1978. Some of my favorites were, "see you in the Rapture," "One day at a time (original version)," "I've come too far to look back," and "All the Glories of His Love" NOW THAT WAS SINGING!!!
This really takes me back to my childhood. Mark and Laddy were my favorite in the group. Rev. Angley is my great-uncle, on my mother's side. We use to go to Ern's crusades all the time and we would get to spend time with Ern and the singers before and after the crusade. Mark would always kid around with me. He was a super guy. To the poster of these videos: I noticed your last name is Latham...are you related to Mark? If so, is he still living? Is he doing alright? Thanks for any info you can provide and THANK YOU for posting these videos!
Judson Horner Hello, I am Mark's son, Matthew. He is doing well and still singing gospel music in his church. I will let him know that you commented and saw the videos. I will post more videos in the future.
