next day i put a new candle under it wait 2min and you can get the whole wax out with minimal residu that stays in it i clean that off under hot water.
Our wax melts are very strong & last me all week, sometimes longer. Melting it once doesn’t affect the scent throw enough to just toss it out after every use, but you certainly can if you’d like a fresh cube on every melt :)
The scent throw will definitely weaken after each use, but our melts are made at the strongest level so I’ve used the same melt multiple times without noticing!
I take the waxy paper towel and put it in a silicone heart shaped mold and when it hardens i put them in a clothes drawer or hang in my closet and it makes the areas smell nice
Melt and pour is a great place to start! Once you feel comfortable you can move to cold processed. I still mix my lye outside because I’m scared 😂I recommend Royalty Soaps channel for lots of help!!
I mix my lye outside too! The other night I accidentally mixed the lye with too warm of coffee water and it erupted like a volcano all over our teak table and burnt the stain off the wood before I could hose everything down. I wear massive goggles, apron, long sleeves, long gloves, etc. but it scared the hell out of me because it has never reacted in that manner before. I've burnt my hands, arms, and even lips in the past from accidental transfer of emulsified batter and the lye literally ate into my skin for about 24 hours. I had legit holes in my fingers the size of large salt crystals. After that experience, I only make soap after my kids are asleep for safety reasons. Please be extra careful with lye!
You don’t have anything to prove to anyone. As long as you know you made the soap is all that matters. I make soap and I could care less about proving I made it. Untalented people will always call your bluff just to see how you do it because they’re fans.
It took me 2 years of research before I would use lye and I used to make my husband mix it cause I couldn’t tolerate the fumes. But I learned that u can use ice cubes so there is no smell. So I’ve been doing that for 4 years now. If ur afraid of lye it’s understandable but, I would not use it till h are comfortable with it cause when ur scared of something that’s how u make mistakes. And the oil mix , it’s still making soap. Your still making soap. And the math is crazy at first. So it’s ok to do that until u feel confident to make an oil blend of ur own. This is why they sell a premix for oils. So don’t feel bad for doing that. You are still a soap maker. Don’t ever worry about what other’s think. There will be ppl who will talk shit about u from the moment ur born till the day u die! U can’t please everyone so don’t try. Just please urself and who ever doesn’t like it can F off. It’s that simple. Never apologize or explain urself to anybody. U be urself and the right ppl for u will luv u for it. This is what I tell my daughter and my son’s. Live for u it’s all u can do. U can’t fight the world so do not bother trying. U will gain ur confidence in that lye. Don’t worry about the oil’s. 🖤

Eww ppls parents prpobably put weird shit like soap in their mouth as disapline as a kid. My mom did that once with my sister and she at the soap so she never did it again but now grown as adult eat weirdshit cus it smells good and dont realize ITS POISON!!!! dont put everything in ur mouth ppl come on its 2022 why do we have to say this to EVERYONE i literally watched a dumb girl taste calamine lotion.....
