The death note isn't meant to be taken literally. He borrowed powers from Shalnark and Kortopi and coincidentally, they both died. The power he borrowed from the mafia daughter has also seemingly died. That is why she said his notebook is like a death note. She's just aloof and insensitive, that is why Benolenov told her to shut up. 2 years late btw.
Onior is definitely the king's illegitimate brother. All illegitimate siblings of the king have 2 scars on their faces to distinguish them and to deny them the possibility of ever laying claim to the throne.
I also want to say thanks for this video. I watched a few other big concent creators do recaps and they missed out on so many details. I am glad I went back and watched this because I learned a lot of new stuff.
Hunter x Hunter is my favorite anime of all time, I even named my dog Zeno after gramps. I truly believe this series could surpass Naruto, Bleach and one piece. There is sooooo much to explore in the universe and these next few arcs show us that’s it’s just the beginning. There’s not even any real fighting scenes in the arcs just quick on/off screen deaths(I guess besides Chrollo and hisoka) after the anime yet the writing alone makes it so damn good.
I dont think the ability in his book goes away when someone dies. If that were the case he wouldn’t have been able to use the owls cloak in his fight with the zoldycks right?
To be fair tho the ants knew nen which wasn't something as far as we know they would've learned aside from interacting with humanity so that probably made them a lot more dangerous then most things on the dark continent, in a way. Other things on the dark continent are a lot more dangerous purely because they are unknown and aren't necessary fighters, you could just catch diseases and so on. Also don't forget meruem never really used nen, he did but it was very rough he was a really bad nen user, he just was so OP and had so much aura it didn't really matter, netero was struggling to hurt him just because of his exoskeleton mostly if i remember correctly, so its hard to really comment on him in a lot of ways

Uvogin admitted he knows about kurta and that they were strong when their eyes turns red. Pakunoda confirms they know about the eyes. Shiela being Pariston is freaking weird lmao
Chrollo wouldn’t be able to ise the puppets like in heaven’s arena because combat is prohibited on the Black whale full of military and powerful nen users. It’s also likely/possible that Chrollo had help because currently on the Black Whale he’s traveling with 2 other members instead of by himself.
