Hey everyone , welcome to my channel. I love everything from hair, skin care and makeup, I'm the ultimate beauty enthusiast. That's what my channel is about sharing my love of beauty with you all.
Thanks for your review. I’ve been using Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Hydrator Midst (instead of a moisturizer) followed by. Smashbox Pore Minimizer. No oil slick and minimized pores. Matte all day. A little oil breakthrough on my nose but not much. Very happy with it. I use a brush for application. I set with one of her powders or Laura Mercier. I also spray with Smashbox Setting Spray. When I used moisturizer and her primer my skin got embarrassingly shiny.😊
@@QuickWorksBeauty yesss 💜 I’m going to pick up a Huda setting powder really soon.I’m trying to figure out what shade. I’m leaning towards Kunafa … thanks for watching 💕
I think a lot of the other foundation brands like that make up by Mario have a pump inside so that's probably why the milliliters are the same. But I like the foundation as well. I'm the shade 34 deep cool.
Hello 👋 Thank you for watching 💕yea I think it’s best to go in and get matched if your new to makeup and unsure. Ulta has a good return/exchange policy too just in case you have to give it a couple tries. 😊
They’re lovely on you… but with all do respect sis, i mean no disrespect no shade but all the shades have always been in Sephora & Ulta simultaneously dropped the same day. Another new shade u may have missed or skipped is champ stamp fantasy 💞 god bless u…
Definitely try D3 like everyone was saying. I match my chest too, and D3 disappeared on my chest so I think it will for you too. I run neutral or warm, sometimes olive. I originally bought D2 olive because it looked like the best in store or D3. But looked green at home so returned it last and swatched. I haven’t done a whole look yet, going out Friday night, but I can tell it’s going to work better. And the lady last night was like you can always exchange it again (they have no testers), so don’t be afraid to do that.
yeah, you could take it back they give you Ulta Beauty give 60 days a day after to return, because it’s look 👀 tad bit darker, but after you fixed it with the concealer try D3 They also have it in natural and cool , but because of your concealer, it worked out because sometime if you’re foundation applied a little bit darker Once you add a lighter concealer around the perimeter underneath your eyes, and your nose 👃🏿 and your chin and your upper lip 👄it comes all together so yes it looks very nice on you.😍👩🏾🦲🥰
Yes.. I think I’ll revisit this. It seems to oxidize so maybe the shade under this will work 🤷🏾♀️. I’m willing to give it a try. I will keep yall posted. Thanks for watching 😊❤
Yessss ❤❤❤ SPF 30 is the Best. I completely forgot about the matte one 😮. I prefer a moisture too, but I’m willing to give it a try to review 😊. Thanks for watching
I love the broad spectrum spf 30…the first one you talked about. That has been my favorite for over a year now and I keep repurchasing because most of the claims are true. No white cast at all, very moisturizing and really protects your skin. I didn’t like the matte one because the formula wasn’t what I expected it to be. Thanks for sharing 🙏🏾❤️
I used to have oily skin sp for that I used foaming facial cleanser but now my cheeks get dries out a lot flaky and tight but my t zonr would be normal, I think its because now I have more of combo skin type skin thats why I stop using it. Now I use hudrating one its good doesn't dry but I still think my t zone feel oilier what do you think I should do or should I use the other cleanser?
Hello I’m so sorry for the late response …. But I feel like you may have combo skin type. An oily T zone is normal for combo / normal. I would stick with the hydrating cleanser. In my opinion I would rather be hydrated then dry 🤗 you could possibly go lighter on the moisturizer in ur t zone to combat that ( still moisturize there though just go a bit lighter )When applying makeup you can use a matte primer in ur t zone and another one for the rest of your face… (that’s what I do) to combat my t zone. ❤ I hope this helps 😊
OMG! I love all the shades on you but you just convinced me to get the Marigold shade sis☺I naturally wouldn't gravitate toward that color but I guess you changed my mind ☺ Thanks! I have sweet berries and same thing happened to me😃I was so scared I had ruined my makeup but I was able to fix it eventually smh. Thanks for sharing ❤
I stocked up on their Peach Perfect Comfort Matte Foundation before it was discontinued and this seems like it’s replacement. How do the 2 compare? Which do you prefer?
You know what? I try alot of foundations and I forgot about it... I'm so sad its gone. But that compared to the Healthy glow are two separate categories. The comfort matte was true full coverage, matte, pore less foundation ( soo beautiful). It was really long lasting as well. I remember they even expanded the shades. The healthy glow is more of a tinted moisturizer its dewy/ radiant. And the shade range is not as wide. (moist tinted moisturizers come in limited shade range. It's very light weight and comfortable on the skin but it gives true medium coverage. Healthy glow will transfer for sure so keep that in mind. The peach perfect comfort foundation stayed in place. I think the healthy glow skin tint best suits normal/ dry skin. I feel it maybe too much for those with oily skin unless they love a dewy finish. I hope this helps.. and I'm happy you were able to stock up on a foundation that you love before it was discontinued. 💓
Thank you for this detailed review! I will stick with the Comfort Matte and buy the Elf Halo Glow for some radiance . It feels like all the good foundations are being “discontinued” or “reformulated” and leave me scrambling so I’m very cautious about buying products these days. They need to put in the work for the extra money we pay these days for e.g the Healthy Glow is pricey than the DIOR Face & Body with less product. 😢 On that note, another RU-vidr said DIOR Face & Body is being “reformulated”, sigh
@@Indetropics I know right 🥺Bakeries insta bake concealer & foundation is being discontinued due to pricing especially since it was made overseas (stated by owner) loved that concealer sooo much 🥺 but I appreciate the honesty so I still support the brand. I think a lot of other brands are discontinuing & reformulating products for the same reason. That’s why I love trying out new products I’m always finding gems 😊but I do understand the frustration a few of my fave’s have disappeared.
Thank you for sharing your story! It does help hearing other women have gone through similar journeys. Going through infertility a lot of times feels like you're a lone. Again, thank your to sharing 🤎
🤗🤗🤗 yes such a touchy topic. A lot of times we are fooled into thinking we are alone which is far from the truth. We get wrapped up in our mind we don’t see anything or anyone else. I struggled with that for so many years. Our testimonies help set us free from shame. Thank you for watching ❤️
Thank you. I saw a lot of reviews on the website that said supergoop Play was too greasy, but those were mostly people with fair and light skin and I wanted to see what people with dark skin thought. I like that you actually rubbed it on so we could see what it looks like and the moisture looks great to me as someone with dark skin. Your review is why I’m going to purchase.
Thank you for your honest review. As a black skin i was super worried to pick a sunscreen which works for my face but this video helped a lot. Can you pls make a video on lip mask / lip balm product.
Thanks for watching your so welcome ... yeah its always nice to see demo applications of sunscreen for deep skin tones. What kind of lip mask / balms do you wan to see?
Girl i feel you about feeling so alone when i had endo pain. I felt so depressed. Getting an endo flares used to make me cry. It was like knives in my uterus near my left ovary. Constant burning and aching. The lower back pain, girl. The pelvic tenderness. Omg i used sleeping TOO as a coping mechanism too!! I got diagnosed after seven years of unexplainable pain last year and i’m so thankful!!! i just feel blessed. I think especially as black women people tend to think we are making up our pain. I really empathize with you going through that at 12!
Hello, Yes I too can relate to all you said. The physical as well as the emotional. Its only recently I learned that many others use sleep as a way to cope or escape issues that appear too hard to tackle at that time. It's so important to speak up / reach out for help. Keeping those kind of emotions inside can lead a person into a dangerous deep rabbit hole. I wish I continued to speak up until I got the help I needed earlier in my life. For me I dealt with a lot of rejection in my life. When certain people/ medical professionals acted like I was making things up, exaggerating. Or acted like what I was going through was something to be ashamed of it was a familiar response to shut up. I felt so small and insignificant, unworthily to express myself. I decided to suffer quietly. But I thank God I eventually tried again and again until I was heard. Thank you for watching and commenting. You sharing your experience will help others. 💜
Hello 👋🏾Which one? I would recommended the unseen sunscreen if your skin type is oily. The play lotion is for dry skin types in my opinion. I can get very moisterizing / dewy ,oily looking. Its easy to go overboard and apply too much of the Play lotion due to the texture & consistency. This can get kinda oily looking. Hope this helps 💛
