im singing this song for my end of term assembly and reading these comments are making me emotional every time i sing this i will think about the lovely comments and probably cry infront of 600-700 people and in a few years i will remember P7 and come back to this song and cry aswell, and i hardly EVER cry

I did, I don't remember the bands though. I do remember leaving afterwards feeling scared shit about going to the Academy. I don't know, but either the whole event paints an exaggerated picture of high school or it's focused on Glasgow school life.
It's a shame, I've bumped into a good 15 of my class mates from p7 in the garage and they've all been full of swedge. I think its the dreadful key change in this song that pushes primary school children in the direction of recreational drugs.
