Nice discussion. India will reach greater heights on the international sports stage only when we broaden the base. More and more Indians need to get on to play grounds instead of being just sports lovers, that too occasional sports enthusiasts. Kids must play, not because they must win international trophies and medals but for the sheer joy of participating in sport. The talented ones will emerge for the higher levels. Government, both at the Centre as well as the state, must ensure that the means are available to all -- playfields instead of buildings in available open spaces

Ambassador Bisaria’s in-depth analysis is real worthy of listening. His analysis of Eurasian eco-politico situation is thought provoking too. I have come across his book on Indo-Pak relation christened as ‘Anger Management’ which is eye opener in many ways. Now listening to him is bit of learning too. Pratim’s relevant and pointed questions also navigated the whole episode so that listener could comprehend current Geo political situation precisely

The ground reality and feedback suggests that the scheme needs a detailed review and is not acceptable in its present form. An internal review ordered by COAS is in progress

Good afternoon to both dignitaries if India wants to complete and secure it's borders with china with the help of 4tn$GDP then we should produce 1tn$ of GDP from it's defense and security sector by employing 1/4th labour force of India and after that try to employ as much as possible manpower of labour available in nation to uplift it's GDP slowly to the level of china in next 25/30 years time frame which is not impossible to achieve without FDI and that model could be called Indian model of industrial economics 12:43

Mr. You are discussing all negative things about both the projects. First you discuss positive things then problems in short. You have seen by discussing many miracles that happened during all rescue operations in past .So believing that India can do. No other countries can do it.

Women’s participation is one of the big reason, if not major or only, of Bangladesh’s economic success When SK Hasina exits the scene, would you foresee Bangladesh slipping into a more Islamic structure which would push women out the economy and will that ruin its economy

Ambassador Shringla is one of India's greatest and most successful diplomats of all time. I am lucky to have his closeness. Like many a people I too want to see him in politics. It is necessary for him to enter politics for the sake of the country's sovereignty, protection and security. It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Modi's foreign policy has been repeatedly praised around the world. The vast experience of a senior Diplomat like Shringlaji will undoubtedly add tremendous value to this team.

He is the most suitable man to handle the Siliguri Strategic Corridor issue as the Son of Darjeeling . He is a visionary par excellence and the right man for the right hour .

It's all useless noice if u don't talk about Tibet when it comes to India's border problem with China. India has no border with China until China occupied Tibet. So u should know the root cause if u want to solve the problem. Until Tibet's issue is resolved, India will not get a good sleep with all the threat coming from communist China.

Last 15 years of Indian foreign policy around south east Asia has failed. India has lost all the credibility to being a good neighbour or so called upcoming super power who can not be trusted as a reliable partner. First of all India do not have that capability and resources to maintain a sustainable relationship rather then focusing their own benefit. Because economic and infrastructure facility if far behind them China. India May use US support to undermine Chinese influence, supporting some fascist and corrupt government like in Bangladesh to keep them power without fair elections. Even India actively worked to destroy Bangladesh democracy. But like Maldives people of Bangladesh start boycotting India and its product and India has no control on it. Very soon Bangladesh will have a new party govt and they will do the same and honeymoon will over with Hasina. In this game China has no credit to win rather then India’s own mistake.
