Man... didn't even know about all this footage getting compiled until a week or so ago. What a bummer. Dylan is one of the first people I was introduced to by Joey when I moved here initially around 2012 ish He was still skating full force during that time and was in with the group of people who I considered to be important pertaining to the core skate scene here. All I could gather was that he had the most fluid 360 flip out of everyone. Him and dharma. The clip that always stood out in my mind of Dylan was this backside 180 fake 5-0 fake 360 out on those coping loading dock ledges against the wall. "The devils toy" I believe? He was a decent kid. I got to spend a little bit of time with him before he went when these clips of.me.and Chandler happened...a few years ago when he scooped me and met up with Chandler and Joey skating Blanton for hours. I begged Joey to film something but he just sat back and watched as usual. It was a good time and the last time I saw Dylan. He never judged me even tho I was pretty far gone and he still scooped me dirty as fuck and living in a tent in the woods of Mable still treated me the same as anyone else letting me feel invited to come out and get a few things with everyone which was super nice and one of the only people to do that for me here in Austin and just in general throughout my life skateboarding. He had a great backside big spin and if anything you could count on a 10 out of 10 execution 360 flip. He also had a great bone structure to his face and a nice giant smile. Well that's all that I have to say about Dylan. He was a swell dude and I was extremely surprised when I heard what had happened. I'm grateful to have known him. Crazy how no one is safe from life and the undertones. Thanks to those involved in putting this together.
