I'm creating war strategy gaming content. So far I've focused on Call of War content but I plan to expand my horizon to other WW2 strategy games.
I've started playing call of war October 3rd, 2018. I've been a moderator for over 3 years. I wrote a lot of content on the forum. With this RU-vid channel however, I'm taking things to the next level. I have a NO GOLD policy in my games. You will see in my video's that I've stockpiled a lot of gold in the time that I've been around. I have one exception and that is when someone uses gold against me. In that case I balance the scales but just that's it.
Bytro is digging their own grave with these idiotic updates, one more stupid than the other. It is difficult to comprehend their business strategy, all companies are not only fighting to acquire new customers but even more to retain them. Here is the other way around, not to retain the loyal ones, it seems their aim is to get rid of them. Personally, I already stopped playing this summer after the introduction of war bonds. Was a loyal customer, had a Premium Account which indeed gives some added value with queuing production/construction or shared intelligence, but now playing is no fun anymore and just waste of time. Allied starts on way behind the front lien, even if not to contact with axis allied pan Asian fighters still usefulness is huge. Intercept small rockets players doesn't stacking fighters or allied tactical, so many reason. I understand rocket fighters but until u have rocket fighters is almost day 8 research production.
I think mechanized infantry should swap with commandos. Nothing is scarier than being swarmed by stealth units. Tank destroyers are a solid defensive unit, should be in A with heavy tanks, as they're about equal. Destroyers are the only anti sub unit in the game, should be in C. SPRA should be in S, they deal a lot of damage and aren't easy to counter. Nuclear bombers should be A, they put a MUCH smaller strain on the economy, which is the main constraint when producing nukes. Two things I noticed about the video: BMFOX clearly hates this doctrine, he's just putting everything in C and D STOP COMPARING THIS DOCTRINE TO AXIS, other doctrines exist, don't only compare the worst parts of comintern.
Sure, I have two beginners tutorail playlists one for axis and another for allies where I showcase the entire game. I also have a playlist with plenty guides.
I always thought that Comintern RRGs were better than allies because they are cheaper and allies gets a speed debuff which you absolutely do not want with RRGs
The axis heavy tank may deal 20% more damage than a comintern heavy tank but it's also 25% more costly and has 5% more hp but also has 30% more upkeep cost. For me, the comintern heavy tanks are definitely more reliable and versatile than axis heavy tanks
@thantthit4797 fair enough however 25% more damage and 5% more HP is not to be neglected. While your units have lost, need to be replaced and sent back to the battlefield. Axis can just continue the conquest on the frontline and even heal up with warbonds.
@@BMfoxCallofWarYeah, that's logical but the axis heavy tanks are not as versatile and reliable as comintern heavy tanks. Surely, they are stronger as only 10 units in a stack will attack and that can be used to detriment of comintern.

I dont think comparing the comnitern units with other doctrines in raw damage is that fair since for every 10 units enemy have they can have 12 for about the same price.

Hey, After your allies ties list, I decided to experiment with allies units. I used stacks of light tank + mot. Infantry, medium tanks + regular infantey, artillery, rrgs and reguar artillery. I also used tac bomber and attack bombers stacks. I was easily able to clear the majority of europe in a clash of nations map with great efficiency and low losses.
When I started playing callofwar I thought that new good updates, like adding new units, adding new good features for more strategy based gameplay, but no!! They're just running the game.
Do you have content about front war tactic ? As a beginner i struggle to find the balance between making big stack and covering new borders to impeach breach
Hello just found your content and really enjoy your content Im new in call of war Quick questions about the upgrade trick please : - As far as I understand, the trick is about not paying one level up. You do unit lvl 1 to level 3 (without oaying one level) But is this possible with unit lvl 1 to level 4 (without paying two levels) ? - producing 10 units level 1 + upgrades costs more than producing 10 unit level 3. For some units with early research available, could it be a good strategy to wait and produce directly a stack of level 3 ?
@@tomdelage7099 Watch the detailed "Magic upgrade trick" video for more details. Sure, you can skip as many levels as you like. Level 3 units need a level 3 production building to be produced. The production time doubles with each level. Level 3 buildings are expensive and take an additional 16 hours to construct. Level 1 to level 3 is the fastest and cheapest way to produce a high level army fast. You can't wait to produce high level armies as you need to produce units to play in the early game.
I started playing this game at 14... I'm now 20, I'm ashamed to say that I was one of those players hahahahaha, just like any other kid in this game that I have to deal with now.
@@KanaTachi that's the weakness of everyone. But either you have a lot of spies or strategical bombers. If not then you'll have to ravage his cores and to do that you need to beat his armies first.
Love ur vids. Quick question. When i saw the best players list the ones you call out every video are pretty good but not top 10. That silverbrains guy is nr 1. Does he simply play easy maps or what?
I havn't played for over a year and use to tryhard like 2 years ago, check every 10 minutes and didn't sleep, and this update completly ruined strategy now, you dont have to sacrifice the production of one resource for another and a whole bunch of other strategic desisions resource related anymore, and honestly this isn't even a smart move as they are basically telling the loyal player base which is a long term revenue to leave so they can get a short term high revenue playerbase.
this is pretty dumb. I played call of war when i was like 13 (currently 17 now) and it wasn't really that confusing and it was very easy to pick up already. i had a 1.73 kd on my old account so even without strategy i was already slapping players with mindlessly producing random troops with Comintern
You've pretty much put the finger on it. Said everything I had in my head. Goodbye to saving up rares for nukes. Goodbye to anything types actually making sense. Not only is the update pointless, but the impacts you showed on relative costs of unit are completely ridiculous. Never said this before, but Fuck Bytro.
This is sad to see, but I can certainly understand your anger over it, especially as a content creator for the game. Making a fundamental change like this will probably be really detrimental to much of your previous content / guides :/
The whole reason why it was enjoyable to play cow was because of the time it took. Removing fundamental goods and rare earth is pathetic. They are selling out their grown up players with gen z brainrotted kids who have time span of a few seconds. Cow is destroy ing itself
@@BMfoxCallofWar Everyone and his dog is upset. Literally pointless decision, may as well remove an entire armoured class or terrain type while they're at it.
at the very least i can see the good in war bonds-but this is just straight up inexcusable thank god i already withdrew from playing COW a few days prior
Dear bmfox I accidentally and unfortunately busted a nut on my iPad screen and it upgraded my bunkers to level 2. My economy is now ruined. What do I do? Thanks
It is very unfortunate to see what has happened. When I first started playing this game in 2020, I thought that maybe we could get more updates that would see the game focus more on strategy and less on money by giving us methods for punishing golders such as adding logistics so that encirclements debuff troops. However, over the past few months it has become apparent that Bytro would sooner see gold as the only resource in the game than make this a proper WW2 grand strategy game. I’m with you, BMfox. If this change is implemented, I think I’m going to put down this game.
i quit CoW a few month ago and changed to Supremacy 1914. interested in seeing these new Leaders and how they will play out. they can make or break the game depending how they are implemented.
