Robert Knauer Unfiltered is a blog, RU-vid site and website that hosts my favorite concoction of personal, historical and fictional stories about my life in the U.S. Navy as an officer, my time working as a junior to senior contracting officer for the federal government and my time as both a novelist and CEO of a DC consulting firm from 2007-2014. I learned a great deal about life, people, hard work and discipline growing up and working. From my time as a child growing up in Orlando, Florida to moving all around the USA and countries overseas I have gathered a great deal of data and information on how others live and why we are blessed to live in a democratic country like the USA. As a person I have gained some maturity along the way, but also have evil lurking deep inside my soul, which is why I love to write "murder mystery novels" and stories about Florida.
