Both of these artist are amazing. Alicia brought raspyness to the song, and Kelly made it smooth. With the high note at the end we all know kelly would have destroyed it but she stepped back and just admired Alicia Keys voice in pure appreciation for her own level of artistry. We need to stop comparing artist and start encouraging them, especially for woman when it seems they must constantly reference sexual innuendos for sales in their music when they have so much more depth to them.
I think adam and blake were judging them too and kinda knew Alicia won this battle. Kelly probably got a little intimidated by how soulful and raspy alicia's voice was and over tired a little too hard with going on higher notes but nevertheless great matchup.
