What about the parking brake that's located in the drums of the rotors in the back brake area ..I take it that they were fine ,or didn't need adjustments with the new rotors.
I'm kind of shocked the dealer's price for pads and discs was that low tbh. Replacing brakes with the cheapest option isn't really my preference, but it's fine in most cases. If he wanted an actual upgrade with >OEM parts it probably still would have been cheaper than the dealer price
Fun fact for literally anyone who didn't know (because I've met a few who didn't) if hammering doesn't sound fun and you're one of the lucky dude who have the right sized bolts, those rotors can be removed by placing the bolts in the threaded slots and just tightening the bolts. Extremely awesome way to remove rotors/drums if hammering just ain't doin the trick.
Holy shit that’s way too much grease for one and two you don’t put it on the fuckin shims…… you put it on where the caliper slides or where the pads slide.
Question for ya. My driver side seems to clunk a lot when hitting bumps, would that be a coil problem or something else? All other corners are perfect except driver side
I feel like after the past 5 years people start to think its a good business if the price is expensive. That used to be the case now pay we pay a shit load for shit service! I started doing almost everything my self. From car maintenance, to installing my own split unit AC. Tools cost less than one "pro" visit and they can be used forever.
