Thank you for this simple fix. I just upgraded the blanked out dash piece for one with a clock in it. I almost took off the column cover and the radio surround piece to gain access. I'm so glad I decided to check here first! .....and luckily my clock worked. I grabbed form a wrecking yard not knowing if it worked or not.
