Good afternoon ! I really liked your video 5 years ago comparing various processors when using the handbrake program The handbrake has undergone several updates that allow the use of more cores. I currently have a Ryzen 5 5500 but I find it very slow for converting movies to the AV1 codec and because of this I'm thinking about buying a Xeon 2680 v4 kit Could you test this E5-2680 v4 again with the AV1 codec so I can see how fast it is currently? It would also be important to see in the task manager how much use the processor is being used
Yes, a few years ago i did some testing with various Xeon processors. I found out that Handbrake 1.3.1 utilized 10 cores at full efficiency. I did not notice any benefit above 12 cores. Back then i had Xeon E5-2699 V3. I have no idea if Handbrake did improve since then in core utilization. This Core i9 9960X workstation has been sold.
That's another discussion really... Just as another topic would be frequency differences. This was all about memory bandwidth. I am very specific with my stuff.
There's a writing on the website frictional made for SOMA, it involves someone climbing the gun and despite knowing they will die once they remove helmet they would rather feel the breeze of the air one last time
@@Artas1984 I played both SP and MP. I'm asking what's that trick map name. I never saw it on pkzone. And I'm wondering what game type you use to show the tricks since PK never had a proper trickjump mod.
How to erase the level ending menu? After killing the boss i want to walk up on the location without this annoying menu. Also i tried to play on catacombs were all the mobs was alastor, but when i killed first one the game ended. How to prevent it?
Ah yes, I remember using the radio near the… examination room I think it was, to lure him in and then lock him, I’m not sure if he could actually hear the radio but I locked him in anyways, but then he appeared out of nowhere on the other side of the map, scaring the hell outta me
Akers can only be trapped for a short while, he'll eventually escape using an ability called "stalking mode", where he essentially despawns, before reappearing near Simon a short time later.
Very Interesting! I've got an i7 6700k myself together with ddr 4 2133 Mhz ram and was alway worried if i had more fps in games if i had higher ram-mhz. Now I know i would gain not much if i would upgrade my ram. Thanks.
Wow. Mad props to the creator of this mod! This _feels_ like Heretic 2 while being original. Now, the only grip with the story that I have is Morcalavein being evil again for no reason, but this is a minor nitpick. The final boss arena is well made.
