Your developer source for all things Azure! Streaming weekly on developer topics including Azure Functions, Container Apps, SDK, Dev CLI, Logic Apps, App Service, and so much more!
I wish your session went in more detail showing registering a container app with app registration. I know that is not core to your product, but would be nice to see a full circle demo.
Pamela, The current implementation is Ful Page. Can you have implementation like chat box(Like Azure Chatbot, tidio etc), where there is just an icon sitting in the bottom right and when user clicks it it open the small window for chat that stis on top. If user click maximize button only that it display in full page .
... talking people into using a dozen azure services for a usecase where most people would probably be fine with wp+woocommerce which they could literally host anywhere 🤪 that's top-tier marketing, i have to admit 👍😁 (yes, of course, it's an intro to azure services, i get it. but still. 😂)
I wonder what kind of laptops does Microsoft give to its employees. The camera and microphone quality is so poor. Even a 100$ phone has better audio and video recording quality.
Looks somewhat good but all these CLI options man... who can remember all of them? I have 100 CLI tools and each I have 2-3 commands I know by heart. Very nice for a demonstration but actually maintaining such thing, oh boy.
I am publishing blazor web assembly test project on azure static web apps and my publish profile stucked in Checking Azure session... ✔ Successfully logged into Azure! Checking project "projectname" settings... and then timedout error.
Workflow Assistant is really helpful especially for citizen developers. do you guys also plan to release this AI assistant for consumption based workflows as well ?
Hi thank you for the video, I keep getting ASP-984f BadGateWay when web app deployment is processing. What are the reasons or how can I avoid that? I am using a student account. Thanks
Ease of setup is definitely there, but what about optimizing all of these queries when there are large datasets? I imagine you would need to monitor usage, tune indexes and restrict the client from querying anything they want. What's are the recommendations on checking authorization against the data and preventing a possible DoS attack?
hi! i am currently implementing managed identity in my project. And I have a function which is automated , basically every 1st day of the month, it will upload a blob file in the azure blob storage. In the local development, you need to login to azure cli by 'az login'. However, if its already in production, how to automate this? like no more Az login right. Just like in your example for Azure VM , you just run the code and its running smoothly. Which means if its on a VM , DefaultAzureCredential will detect it and there is no need to Az login? I have already had a managed identity assigned the Azure blob account and added role as Data blob contributor. Please I need a response. Thank you!
Thanks, great news! Really nice work with the Data mapper! Looking forward doing something with the inline code. For PowerShell is there any documentation on which modules will be available?
Regarding the comment that all major IDEs are supported, isn't SSMS a major IDE? I notice that Co-Pilot support is not available for it - and Azure Data Studio is still missing several core features only available in SSMS.
Can you host projects/services from multiple solutions in a single Aspire host? Based on this demo it appears as though it can only be used for modular monoliths.

To add on what Eamon was saying about serverless; I believe app service consumption plan provides scale to 0 support. It is indeed quite confusing that function apps and app services are so similar. I would say the main difference is the event driven binding model you only get with function apps.
