Is that a green light on the passenger side? Any idea why they run green on some of their rigs? Unless something changed in the last few months, Im pretty sure green isnt authorized on CA emergency vehicles. Unless its stationary and being used as a command vehicle. Is San Mateo copying Chicago FD?
@MartinEmergencyResponseVideos l thought only red, white, and amber were authorized for fire and ambulane. And blue for L.E. vehicles. I retired from a CA police department, and I never saw in the vehicle code that green was authorized for fire. Do you know the cvc section that authorizes green? Or is it under title 18? I cite a security guard for having green domes on his lightbar since only amber is authorized for security. I like to think i know the CA vehicle code pretty well, but maybe I missed something. Haha.
