Thank you. The Per-Socratic thinkers were deeply immersed into becoming divine. Heraclitus, Parmenides, Empedocles....Even Thales took his starting point those of the Egyptians-----i.e, a metaphysical explanation of life. Not materialist at all. And of course Pythagoras, fountainhead of so much Greek thinking. Plato seems to tie up many of the strains of these thinkers; then developing his own philosophy on their foundation. And of course the Mysteries.... Thank you again, Ms. Hobbs.....

Excellent points! The conservatives are whipped in a frenzy by darker forces to claim that liberals are emotional and spineless. When in reality it's they who make decisions on faith and emotion, you don't really need to think when you've been working, praying, voting, living the same way decade after decade.

I'm taking an introduction to Archaeology course (first year) obviously, and just wondering if anyone can give me a general breakdown on the concepts i'd be learning and some of the material that would be taught in a first year intro to Archaeology course
